The percentages given by rediff do not show any reality. Young men are behaving the same in all Indian metroplitan cities. We should have a higher number of police patrols in cities (frankly, honest and sincere). Police simply sitting inside the Police Station cannot control the public. They must always be on the move on the streets to enforce law and order.
Mumbai is definitely better than Delhi for Women, but its still dirty, full of slums.
I remember reading & seeing pics few years ago, of a girl being molested by a mob on new years eve. All the passersby joined in on the fun. This shows that ppl are the same everywhere. If they feel they can break law & get away with it, then they will. So, in the end, the law enforcement has to be strict, which is perhaps lacking in Delhi. Also, Jats & their k*ing khaps have been another source of problem

You are comparing India with countries where there is no stigma attached to reporting rape!
If reporting rape in India was not stigmatized, the actual number of rapes would be much, much worse!
India is a country of 5 3 x u a l l y frustrated men who try every possible trick in the book to do everything from groping a woman to brutally raping them!
So take the chill pill and hang your head in shame if you are aware of the concept of shame!

hockey should be banned from the country. Any people with hockey sticks must be severely punished. All the current players should be rewarded with bharat ratna and asked to become politicians.
500 plus MPs,one president, one prime minister and the royal family cannot make Delhi a safe place. What administration do you expect from these people throughout the countries.Either these leaders are incompetent-rapist-hooligans or they are indifferent towards building a civilised society which is safe and secure. All these leaders chullu-bhar-pani-mein-dub-marna-chahiye.
You dare to go solo. But dont pls cry foul. You go solo for a reason. If there is a small deviation then you cry foul. Be brave and face consequences, dont accuse men when things go wrong for you women.
Men are always the same yesterday, today and forever. They always are hungry. Hungry for food, hungry for $, hungry for W. Nothing wrong with them. If the feel they can get it , they will try to get it. DOnt blame them.

This is rapist mentality. So, you are supporting rapists. I doubt you would say the same, if some one in your family is raped.

Dear "N G",
Don't bother with asking permission for it!
You seem to be from Andhra!
You will start doing the "odd" jobs "instinctively" as soon as your feet touch US soil!
And if you find all this work too "risky" from an immigration rules point of view, you can always sell the code you write to your employer's competition!
How do you think your fellow Andhrites have made it so big in the US?!
In fact they were so inspiring that even the CEO of the older Satyam started cheating even though he was earning crores every year!

Some home remedies for your burning rectal cavity rohit bajaj:-
Remove any jewelry or clothing at the site of the burn. If clothing is stuck to the burn, do not remove it. Carefully cut around the stuck fabric to remove loose fabric. Remove all jewelry, because it may be hard to remove it later if swelling occurs.
Apply soothing lotions that contain aloe vera to burned areas to relieve pain and swelling. Applying 0.5% hydrocortisone cream to the burned area also may help.
There isn't much you can do to stop skin from peeling. Tt is part of the healing process. Lotion may help relieve the itching
