Antony is a flop
by manu nair on Feb 21, 2013 09:34 AM

People say Antony is very clean. What is use of this cleanliness when he can't control his Secretaries and others who took commission. If commission is to be paid pay it and inform the people. It is not good to pay commission and when caught say we will scrap the deal. This is a cowardice attitude. He was not like this when the matter of Gen.V.K.Singh came up. What we need is only MPs who are elected directly by the people only be made ministers. Problem are when they do a short cut thru Rajyasabha with the blessing of Sonia.

"A leader(Neta) sets example by leading from the front". In our country, the Common man faces results of every action by Leaders but the Leaders don't own any responsibility for their action creating the crisis

Antony is like a deadbody sitting in a chair.behaves like a lost man as doesnt know business as what to do.he was an utter low performed chief minister of kerala with maximum number of farmar suicides.he infact fled kerala with a motive of maintaining reputation.Military higher ups have been befooling him. They reaped so high pay and perks how?because our in actualising defence minister who is like a puppet.Other than blacklisting what else this jocker can do?can he stop or take stern action against anybody who are a party to it or perpetrators of it?who needs honesty? He is like an embalmed corpse.neither harmful nor useful.Rather he can leave the chair after sticking a label.Who doesnt know more defence production domestically will lead to less import of defence equipments and hence we should enhance more production. Now it took 9 yrs for him to know that. Was he trying to erect his powerless dongs all the years spoiling the countrys budget to a fragmented section at the cost of poor people. If he is a wise man let him reject the proposal of forces to fill arsenal.we need a rather less manned effective force than a crore of leeches.

You must be a staunch communist. Even the CPM cadres acknowledge that Antony was one of the cleanest and most effective CMs Kerala ever had.

When my money as a tax payer is involved in the deals made by his department, then I would rather not worry about his record of "Has Been"

When so much corruption has been happening right under his nose, then he is unworthy of the Chair and should resign forthwith. For that matter what was our PM doing?
If arguments can be made about Gadkari that he should vacate office till proven innocent, then same argument holds for these two office bearers.

No deal any where in the world is finalised without service charges or commission.Whichever govt may come to power major contracts or purchases cannot be finalised without kickbacks.Procedure are so cumbersome that without someone "facilitation" there will be no business.Even in our day to day work this has become essential. For instance,to get a passport renewed the documents to be submitted are simple. However,at the screening stage the assistant at the counter will point out at least a few innocuous errors that one will ultimately take the assistance of a facilitator who will charge you just Rs.90- and everything will be hunky dory. The Defence Minister, whether from the Congress,BJP or the Communists can do precious little in doing away with facilitators. In order to get things done commissions, kickbacks etc will be necessary evils.Things ,otherwise, will not move.

This was not a commission. It was a kick-back. There is a clear difference between the two.

This part of the article where BJP is also dragged in, is a part of Cong (and the media which supports Cong) strategy to find a way out of the scam and the opposition attack. We could see a this pattern of behavior even during Anti corruption movement by Anna Hazare and Co. where they tried to link BJP/RSS with the movement.
Supreme court canceled all 2G allocations finding fault with the method of allocation. The auction of 3G spectrum was a super hit, because Govt. took all the care learning lessons from 2G. Later they conducted fresh auction of 2G (auctioning older technology after auctioning new technology) which was a flop. Many cong ministers started blaming BJP and opposition of propaganda on 2G and claimed CVC report to be biased.
Even during the recent protest at Delhi against crime on women, many sections in the media unnecessarily highlighted comments by some not entities like Asram Baba(I did not know who this guy was until then)rather than focusing on the Mafia - Politician -Police nexus in Delhi which renders women traveling by bus/ auto rickshaw unsafe. (In fact Sheela Bhatt herself wrote an article on it in rediff).
All this reminds me of an Indian saying where someone is ready to lose both his eyes if he is guaranteed that his opponent will lose an eye.
Cong seems to be doing exactly this. But still I think they will form the government in 2014.

Friends just going off topic. I have been following Imran Khan via youtube. The way he is going before election is benchmark. What a leader. Today he gave vision what his educational policies would be when he will come to power. What a step? He says he want to make a new country. His past and committment is unmatchable. Imran Khan I dont see a leader like this in India at the moment

That is true. BJP has won only in the urban areas in Gujarat. They have been roundly trounced by the Congress in the rural areas.

DRDO should start working on such choppers now so that they can deliver by 2060. By that time the rest of the world would've started producing spaceships.

Go DRDO Go!! You can do it (gobble money for 30 years and deliver nothing)
