Mr. Dharmaraj the only punished one from the lot clearly mentioned two things... 1) He & Kurian used an Ambassador car. This is against kunjoonl's argument that he saw them in Maruti 1000.
2) Mr. Baji - is someone from Erumeli.. not Kurain..
These are the two most critical points on which the entire story is built up..These two revelations clearly allow Kurian to be escaped and declare himself innocent.

well literate people should not fall for the sob stories and blackmail / extortion antics of bogus "victims" who are capitalising the current rape phobia and mindless hysteria in the country !
I think there is no need for any hues and cries in the name of the Surianelli lady (now she seems to be over 35 years). Last day there was an article by the renowned columist Mr. K.M. Roy of Mangalam enunciating the actual facts of the case. The girl is question, as quoted by him had enough opertunity to escase, if she need to escape. She was frequented from one place to other by public transports and car. She had the opertunity to be alone at somewhere near Cochin and she even went alone and seen the Hindi film "Gambler " during the period of so called captivity. Those interested can have a glance at the column publised by KM Roy in Mangalam, which is available in their website now.
Before throwing stones at the Hon'ble retd High Court judge and Sudakaran, it is better to ask own concious was is the fact????

What Mangalam has been quoted is based on the High Court judgement which is publised in Kerala Law Journal and is a public document now. So, forget about whether it is Xtian news paper or PJ Kurian is Xtian or Hindu or which party he is belonging

If a minor is anyone below 18 yrs and cannot be tried for murder for being juvenile, then the assumption is a minor can commit mistakes and can be allowed to repent, if the girl as an adult now knows the mistake and court says she was a juvenile, why then question on her?her mistakes? her character?Was kurien not adult then? he is in question of bad character!

I fully agree with you. But dont think that those who abused might have checked the age. Evenif she was an adult at that time, these types of hues and cries will be heard if any well known person is involved in the case. If the name of Kurian is not heard now, this case might not have appeared now in news channels or national dailies

You also add that BJP leader Arun Jaitley was the advocate for Kurien in Supreme Court and another local BJP leader from Idukki was the prime witness who testified in favour of Kurien. So Congress-Left-BJP everybody joined together and denied justice to the victim.

Rapes need to be condemned at any cost and the culprits must be punished. What about paid one??
Wrong information is being circulated in all national channels that the girl was abducted but the girl herself says that she ran away with her boyfriend who inturn cheated her and took her to these 42 men..she should have thought of the consequences before blindly believing a man and what is the use of crying now?

what are the lies vijay? this girl moved about freely for 40 days, went to movies alone, visited hospitals alone normally, rode in public buses alone, visited parks .. still she was "abducted" and "confined"? if she is having guilt and moral probs later on. then why put the blame on others? then having seks with any consenting woman is dangerous ! tomorrow anyone can say you have "raped" her !
if you look at the circumstances we can easily find that she is doing prostitution willingly or unwillingy but definitly with the knowledge of her parents...how can we justify the fact that her father did'nt register a complaint with the police when she was missing for 40 days...Dr, seema if you want to get any political mileage from this incident i am sorry you are not going to get it since a silent majority still feel that she was doing prositution...it's high time you should change the word rape with prositution and ask whether kurien was right in going to a postitute...i will support you
