There are lot more important things to talk on.
by Vinay Raokar on Feb 05, 2013 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

If there no 100% protection from any agency then I think nothing is more valuable than life. Band is just a thing. If you can't stop people opposing this then stop wasting time in discussing about everything related to this and do something more valuable. There are lot of beggars around temples & other places need more help and discussion than a band. And most important is never give money to any beggar it will just increase that business. Instead feed them with food & water. They are giving births just for this business only. You can see this by footpaths & near traffic signals.

Well just because beggers are there around, one should not say dont start a music session. There is no correlation between them. For argument sake, we can say so many thinks, but reality is different. There may a death in one village and grand marriage party on the other. One should not say that everybody should mourn for the death rather celebrating marriage.

There is a height of double standards. Sangh- keeps roaming around parks. Harass couples at public places. Humiliate girls wearing jeans. Attack on clubs, group dance and disco. Advocate and act against celebrating valentine day but never loose an opportunity to criticize Islamic values. What a double standard. Their mind, thinking, intellect is ceased and fully manifest hypocrisy, double standards. This is their centuries old enmity and grouse against minority. Let them go and try to rehabilitate women in red light areas where hafta- is fixed for politicians and police.

Fatwa against unislamic singing
by eknath baliga on Feb 05, 2013 10:13 AM  | Hide replies

Fatwa shall also be issued against Salman,Sharuk, Aamir and Katrina for dancing and singing in films, against Kawali which again is singing. Religion is being mis used illogically and hapless being attacked. Muslim intelligentia shall ponder over this and evolve reforms in the social/religious practices in tune with the present realities of life pushing aside the ideologues preaching and practising distinctiveness in identity and religious seperatist phenomenon in every field. Life will be more meaningful then.

this time, no secular media is telling, its TALIBANI forman!
by sanjeev ganguly on Feb 05, 2013 10:13 AM  | Hide replies

as they knew, its a real talibani, not hyndu moral preaching(but never binding others) where they did not spare a single occasion to refer them 'talking like talibani'!
now, the apprehension for media is that, they(msulyms) r not "talking like talibani" but they r real TALIBANI, so media is unable to use this respected term for them!

when will our leaders start to think
by vk on Feb 05, 2013 10:11 AM  | Hide replies

The people who issue fatwa have a motive which has nothing to do with religion.
its a way to control people in a communist /dictatorship stlye.
The more the people you can control the more you are worth and funded by those who want to win elections.

Greatness of Islam
by Vishvaksenah E on Feb 05, 2013 10:03 AM  | Hide replies

Please read the message of Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
He is a noble man.
He and his organisation are great supporters of "Pragash"
Grand Mufti Bashiruddin Ahmad is an intellectual par excellence. He has been miquoted. He did not issue a fatwa against "Pragash". Infact he issued a fatwa against the people who oppose this all girls rock band.

It is the saffron elements who have infiltrated into the media who have proclaimed that there was a fatwa by Grand Mufti Bashiruddin Ahmad .
This is jut to defame the fair name of Islam.

----
I presume this will be the statement of Diggi tomorrow.
