The maid disappeared in June 2013. Her passport and visa was revoked by India in July 2013. So she obviously violated the law in India and that of US by violating visa rules. Why would the US protect such a person and even take a complaint of her so seriously? The normal procedure that they follow is that once they find that the person is overstaying her visa she will be deported. Why such a special interest for this maid by sacrificing good relations with India?

Khobrkhade wants to divert the attention by all means, be it a wild allegation without substance or minor one. All he wants is to escape the law abiding country of US's laws. He has done some many law breaking things in India and thought he can copy paste it US. A lesson learned and also : what you sow, so you reap. In this case the cavity was so searched that she remembered her nanny. Well done US.
