USA always have two set of rules, one for them with high class human rights and other set for weak countries. They considered India is weak, so the applied their low class human rights rule.

Brother, I am not sure if the Maid was really the victim. I feel she is just as greedy as the Consular. I have seen enough of such cases before. I guess, what really boils down to is if the maid was mistreated ( overworked , not paid the salary promised in India etc)
If she is claiming that she is not paid minimum wage as per US law and not harrassed in any other format , then it is plain and simple that the Maid is the bigger villain in the picture.
The indian government's stance of not initiating visa forgggerrry case against the consular in india, shows how the attitude of the current government towards corruption.

afterall this lady and her father are involved in more scams in india..why so much of importance to them? because they have political connections? will the same government support a common man this way? where were they when Kalam was frisked by the US securities..think before you support these corrupt officials..just dont jump against US..

If Dr. Devyani had done anything wrong she would have confessed long ago. It defies all common sense that an Indian M.B.B.S. Doctor can commit a crime when she is in office as an Indian Diplomat.

You do realize that the SC/ST scccum has a flat registered in her name that is meant to go to Kargil Martyr family right ? Also this scuuuum got medical seat/ IFS seat etc through reservation craaaap.
That being said, AFAIK the maid has accused the consular of not paying her US minimum wages. that is pure BS and shows that the maid is a bigger villain in this case.
However, if the maid got mistreated then her actions is justified.

Those talking about US standards and injustice shd know that the complainant is also an Indian and a poor woman. Is an Indian Govt employee in US not bound to be true and honest ? How can you expect that she was working in a fair manner in her office (after this expose)? Govt of India is unnecessarily blaming USA inspite of matter still before Courts. This Govt fellows in India and Indian missions abroad also are too bad and they do not care for the poor. Pl understand how Sanjay Dutt is released again on parole and how Lallu gets a bail. Jagan Mohan Reddy the most crooked politician also got bail where 1000s of Crores have been swindled. It is a shame Aam Admi Party is joining hands with Congress Party! Not many days after you will learn that AAP is just another political entity like others. We Indians are shameless, luckless and mindless. Power makes us bad and corrupt. OK it is so in other countries also. But we should learn from Gulf countries abt Law and Order. Govt of India shd also take into account that Devyani's family is involved in Aadarsh flats scam of Mumbai. We have our children in USA for years on but nobody did any such acts and got caught. That is real Indian spirit and patriotism. Not Devyani's type. We urge Govt of India to immediately dismiss her from its services and face Law of the Land in US and in India for spoiling the Indians' image and fair reputation. Hope all Indians will wake up to this and join me in demanding JUSTICE to the poor also.
