Yes send army and attack them. Which world you live man?
All you can do is to vote UPA back and then your government will keep quite for all shames brought on indians abroad, from Abdul Kalam to ordinary Indian. But will come back in 5th year with angry faces to get your vote again.

Uncle sam never over reacts. Do you see any reaction today in media? They dont care and know very well that UPA is facing election. They will continue to assault indians post election if UPA come back to power.
They dont do it out of hate for indians..because indian governments are weak and never speaks up for these matter.

So a bunch of thugs can come over the border to Mumbai and murder over 150 people and the government does nothing. One diplomat gets arrested the government suddenly becomes a raging tiger. Elections coming you see and they are in for a drubbing. Once the elections are over, the MMS Congress government will return to their spineless ways.

WELL DONE, DR. MMS!

The Americans think that they have the licence to humiliate and kill anyone all over the world. They have done their Dadagiri in Vietnam and the Vietnamese people with their heroic actions defeated them. They indulged in Dadagiri all over the world and killed Lakhs of people in Iraq. If no action is taken they will do the same thing to our motherland.

They know the language of Dadagiri only and India has done a right thing in this matter.

US should be taught a lesson.

In the past they have humiliated many prominent Indians in the name of security. But shock to know that here they are treated specially. The indian govt has done the right thing by removing all the special status enjoyed by these 'cowboys' in our country.

A3 visa
by Guest on Dec 18, 2013 10:17 AM  | Hide replies

I just studied the whole A3 visa requirements in US govt. website. The sponsor of A3 visa can only be A1/A2 visa holders who are diplomats. Though the sponsor is a diplomat its a personal employment contract between a diplomat and her nanny that the US visa department reviews and approves. The website clearly says that there are strict regulations that need to be followed like hours of work, description of duties, wage, etc. The sponsor also MUST PROVE THAT SHE HAS SUFFICIENT FUNDS to pay the employee. There are all sort of protections offered to the personal employee and any abuse to the employee is treated as human trafficking and is a severe criminal offense.

Clearly this A3 visa was prepared and submitted by diplomat/GOI and approved by US consular officer in India. Not knowing what was in the contract we Indians should know the details because in this case both complainant and defendant are Indians.

At the end of the day and the fact that similar issues happened with Indian embassy in the past it seems like there was general callousness towards the entire A3 application process and total disregard for the US visa laws. Who did that and how that happened should be the primary focus after this shameful incident.

I think other countries get around this by either the government paying the minimum wage to the personal employee or the personal employee being an employee of the govt. and not the diplomat. Just a guess though but probably is the solution for the problem going forward.

I also don't believe other countries promise the personal employee US minimum wage and then pays them salary according to their domestic salaries. Also the website clearly says that you cannot deduct perks to make reduce the minimum wage - you have to pay them that amount either weekly or bi-weekly as cash or to their US bank accounts.
