At last, the UPA Govt. opened its eyes. Thanks to the upcoming General Election round the corner. We are yet to hear a comment from the Top Leadership in our country. Happy that the country is in one voice in cases like this which have the Que from NIRBHAYA's case. India shouldn't soft peddle this issue anymore. I am of the opinion that they (U.S) should be returned in the same coin. The action should be such that not only the U.S but also the countries where we have our consulate should think thousand times before venturing into such actions.

After congress find itself the distance between the party and the Indian youth.. they started to understand that this is the time they can show their temparment. Otherwise, they will lose the India election also like they lost the state election.
So it took the strip search of a dalit bureaucrat with powerful father having political connections to jolt up the Indian Foreign secretary and act tough.Would they hv taken it in the same note if the lady was from a so called forward community. No doubt what happened was terrible and USA should apologise and their diplomats should be given same treatment henceforth but Indian govt should also think that by calling her a dalit every minute we are weakening our own support in India
Kick of all americans we -Indians tollerated a lot - Our APJ Abdul Kalam was insulted that time itself India should have taken strict actions to teach americans not to forget - or to be cheap with Indians

Yes it happenned because Indian diplomat was involved. For ordinary citizens and even ex-Presidents(if they are not UPA supporter), our government will keep tolerating.
Devyani’s father Uttam Khobragade was once a very powerful bureaucrat in Maharashtra. He is now retired. He has worked closely with former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilarao Deshmukh and current Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, who played a major role on Tuesday in formulating stern policy on the issue.
