PRECEDENT
by Anand sodo on Sep 01, 2013 12:12 AM

The Juvenile Court has wittingly or unwittingly set a very bad example (it cannot be called a precedent because such worthless judgments have been delivered earlier too, but were not in the headlines).
Our Laws are just too outdated and out of sync with reality.Continuing with such laws only reflects on the 'Mental Impotency' of our law makers and of course the entire citizenry.
Very far reaching and outrageous Results are the only outcome of such judgments - Just Imagine - All future SUPARI killers employing JUVENILES to 'MURDER" people - and they getting off the hook with just three years(Maximum)if at all cought and prosecuted. Revenge murders Rapes Kidnappings, Acid cases...all employing Juveniles...WAKE UP India WAKE-UP before it is too late, do not allow 18th century laws to tear the society into pieces. It is the duty of the Government to modernise the legal system, but here, they are busy looting the nation and who cares for the laws after all they are made to be broken!
There are thousands of Rapes Murders and Kidnappings, We the public wake up on one fine morning and light a few candles for Jessica Lal and gather for a day or two at the India Hate lawns - nothing changes - we go back to sleep. There has been a gang rape in Mumbai and now in Noida and how many more child rapes in delhi itself, but do we really care?...I am ASHAMED of being an INDIAN. Sorry, but true.

Juvenile has committed a CRIME of VERY SERIOUS ADULT NATURE
by ashok kumar on Sep 01, 2013 12:05 AM  | Hide replies

Juvenile has committed a crime of VERY SERIOUS ADULT NATURE. He has no right to be treated as juvenile any more. The appeal should be first that if matter itself is in area of juvenile court? I don't find it to be fit to be dealt in juvenile court.

If there is no such law to disqualify this juvenile who committed a VERY SERIOUS CRIME OF ADULT NATURE to be dealt in juvenile court then its just a pity.

There is immediate need for constitutional amendment if we cannot hang this juvenile who has committed a crime of VERY SERIOUS ADULT NATURE under present laws.

The current treatment of juvenile will have very long lasting consequences on society as the incident has been widely spread and a large section of national and international society was following the judgement.

Judiciary is independent
by ashok kumar on Aug 31, 2013 11:58 PM  | Hide replies

Judiciary is independent but are the judges? It looks judges are from alien planet and have no touch with realities.

Not surprised if this judgement will provoke the other juveniles to take law and order in their hands.

Since juvenile has committed a crime of VERY SERIOUS ADULT NATURE he should not be treated a juvenile any more.

Basically the judges are tied down by the laws of the Nation supposed to be framed by our legislative and the Government,BUT the Laws introduced by the British in the 18th century are still being kept alive in India, because our Governments do not have either the will nor the inclination to work.

How brutal the so called minor criminal was & it was necessary to have considered his crime first. He did it with his adult crimnals with the same brutality and attitude . It is a national fear now for ladies irrespective of girl children. Other criminals must get death sentence in front of public is my appeal.

Juvenile judgement
by Jatin Pandya on Aug 31, 2013 11:52 PM

Get ready to take the case to UN as said by you. It is not possible to get justice here even if you approach Supreme Court. I fear the same old justice will prevail in India as was shown in our movies during the seventies, eighties & nineties. People will take law in their own hands & get justice on their own as goons do not fear police anymore and have no regards for law. Javed Akhtar in a TV show very well said that when a juvenile knows what he is doing is absolutely wrong he is bound by the law irrespective of his age.

where are the sacred custodians of the law ?
by John Joseph on Aug 31, 2013 11:44 PM

The judiciary is active in matters pertaining to sharing of money between criminals/politicians and holy ghost judges !!-would they have given a similar verdict if their daugther was raped and murdered in a similar fashion ?.
talking of equal justice ???or are they talking of equal share of the loot ?
awake and listen to your conscience before preaching about ethics/morality/ clean goverence?.
why are the criminals masked before the media -let the whole world including their immediate family be ashamed and dis won these animals of horror-let their families hang their head in shame and be treated as outcasts - criminals/politicians/ judiciary and animals included !!
