Why would Majlis oppose Telangana if Telangana will be the first Musslim state? Why will the BJP support Telangana, if Telangana will become the first Musslim state? Your arguments are deprived of logic.

Telangana will become prosperous because we will not have corrupt leaders from Seemandhra governing us and destroying our beautiful Hyderabad. Can you imagine a corrupt leader like Jagan getting elected? It is utterly shameful and only Seemandhra people are capable of doing this. Please keep your Seema factionism and your Andhra arrogance to yourself. We want to live like decent human beings.

Do you think regional leaders are corrupt free.

It will be all hunky-dory in the beginning how freedom fighters for India would have felt in 1947, now they die everyday looking at our dismal record on devp but world records in corruption.

No doubt one YSR is equal to 60yrs of AP corruption. But he earned on Jalyagnam.

when Telengana form, they intend to take up water projs nothing but money spinners, so KCR might even cross YSR.

So when corruption bleeds devp, how a separate state devp?

You comment here and the so called agitation are clearly illustrating how decent you are.
1. KCR aka Dubai Sekhar (Visa scam is leading the agitation. His family collecting money in the name of agitation.
2. Prof. Kodanrami Reddy promotion as professor (obtained PhD only in 2003 and always in agitations) is questioned by UGC?
3. Several cases pending on MP Madhu Yakshi and his family in USA.
4. Gudesala Venkataswamy and his family is well known for land grabbing.
5. Several ministers from telangana in YSR and current govt. are under CBI enquiry.

It is stupidity to blame other regions for your own problems. Seema-andhra or telangana politicians are no different from the rest in India.

You have very high regard for the intelligence of politicians. It is rare to see politicians debating rationally on any topic, leave alone telangana. When most people of telangana want a separate state that itself should be a reason for granting separate state. The question that vested business and political interests from Seemandhra should answer is this - why should the state not be split, when the normal people of seemandhra do not really care?

According recently NDTV poll survey, 76% from seema-andhra opposing AP bifurcation. Does this poll survey indicate normal people from seema-andhra are supporting telangana?
AP bifurcation would be disaster for both the regions and therefore any normal person in AP should oppose the separation.

This is not 1950s. This is 2012 and we have people's growth to worry about. By dividing the country in pieces and giving it to different power hungry politicians, how does it help the ppl in the region?

Today, you will ask for a division based on language. Tomorrow, there will be another based on something else. Wher does it stop?

Telegana may hv been a state in 1950's. It no longer exists. Pakistan was with India in 1940's. It doesn't mean we have to go and change these things after 60 years because it s convenient for some politicians.

My ganesh you spell out three things that the people in the region gain by this action. If you cannot, please keep your peace.

Telangana was a state when hyd was merged into indian union. In 1956 they created AP by merging it with Andhra based on some agreements which were never followed by Andhra. Since then there was this agitation going on in spells. If interested search more for telangana. But if you are from Andhra forget it

Telangana was part of Hyd state (16 districts), which was dismantled and merged with 5 districts of Marathi speaking region with then Bombay state, 3 districts of kannada region with then Mysore state and 8 districts of telugu (aka telangana) region with then recently formed Andhra state to create AP. So unlike Andhra state, telangala was never been a state. It is pity that those who supporting telangana don't have this basic knowledge.

The problem is, there has to be substantial benefit tot he people of the region. Where are your reasons?

If some politician decides he wants to be CM and wants a new state created, India shld do that? Where does this stop?

If this is allowed, tomorrow, we all know the neighbouring countries that create trouble in india, they will sponser some people to start a new agitation or someone like the Thackereys may want to create their own country?

Indians who are patriots will never allow these kind of divisions. Get ahead in life. dont waste it for policians..

Telangana will be a reality. No matter how many foxes howl & create hurdles. No power in the world could stop people's movements. You are lucky that the agitation is still peaceful and you could able express your views. There's an example: In 1955, America introduced a frog "Rhinella marina", to control the pest but it started preying on the native species. Now they are taking measures to eradicate them. So to Resurrect the native species,Telangana has to come.
