They are eating a life in chicken. So wat is the problem if they found worms/lizards or rats in that food. If they had found worms in Veg food then its a problem. Go veg

This is the common dialogue from Non veg eaters that plants also have life. Plants also have life but if we take the vegetables from plants, the plant will not die. it continue to live. understood?

Right, if they can eat a chicken then they can very well eat a much smaller worm.

Both non-veg and both cooked to eliminate infectious micro organisms.

same for roasted chicken. If I give Abhijit sarkar a chiken dipped in drain will he eat? I think no one can defend eating chiken. Killing someone for food is wrong. If killing animal/bird is acceptable then other crime must also be acceptable to meat eaters

Worm and many more.
by Y Koonda on Oct 09, 2012 02:05 PM

Its a shame that a reputed eatery can have such things. I understand prices go up and that does not mean worms and anything can be supplied.Should penalize them under food control act.

Control & Preventive Measures!
by Faisal Tabrez on Oct 09, 2012 02:03 PM

Dear All,

We must learn from happenings and make sure that to avoid any such incident all outlets have certain guideline to prevent such incident from occuring and to control the procedure they follow towards ensuring the healthy food.

It is not a matter of MNC doing it or Indian outlet doing it. It shall be looked as an incident and measures shall be worked out to avoid such incidents. There are detailed guidelines to control risk bound to food. Complaints and feedback is required to analyse the happening and to control. It must not be utilized for some malice or other mileage. Govt. shall turn transparent and shall educate and train the machineary to control any such happening and it will only happen when we Indian learn to be worthy to the position and power we get. With corrupt values we only seek opportunity to make money and not to correct things for society. A basic change is needed inside the system to prevent such incidents from happening.

Good job by an ordinary citizen to expose a multinational food court. Prompt action by the Health Department.
Such news needs to be well publicized acroo India to make every citizen more aware of what he or she can do to set things right.
