Unfortunately she has taken an extreme step. Being a fearless warrior, she should have faced the life amidst all roughness or harshness instead of making her mother sink in sadness at her elderly age.
Rajeev, you took the very thought from my mind. I too have exactly the same amount of affection and respect for Varsha.
In this present quagmire of 'secular liberalism', Varsha's writing was a beacon of light. I pray more and more people take up the cause and write strongly like Varsha.

It's very unfortunate that many educated people consider that spitting venom against a particular community is patriotism. Many writers try and exploit this mindset of people, to become popular overnight.

Die standing tall rather than live long on one's knees? She might have found the pain and suffering unacceptable, especially if the prognosis wasn't much better.
