videshi are no saints. Vodafone reports fake losses at their HQ such as to sSuck more money out from international operations. Videshis spend money in name of investment (this is what they show loss at their HQ) to sSuck 100 times more to compensate the loss shown under various pretext. Compare this with Tata's Infosys etc who cannot fake looses. So this should not be a reason why they cannot sSuck out more from their international investments.
Why do we need direct FDI when India can modernize it's own PDS using FDI instead of allowing Multi-brand retailers operating directly or in collaboration with thugs.
Allow videshi retailers have 26% to 50% in indian PDS to improve it (improve supply chain, storage ) and expand it and even retain those more efficient smaller PDS shops as well along with Mega retail (mega variety and competitive) PDS competing with Reliance, etc.
We want foreign FDI collaboration in all government companies that are competing with videshi and deshi corporates in Telecoms, tourism, etc.

sadly bjp-congress are cartel with bjp wanting to hog opposition space. bjp gave congress the breather when Mamata voted against them. people have very short memories.
this time it should be multi-party no confidence motion led by Mamata again. Let us see what happens.

the times are changing too fast and our elephants are lumbering through the jungles instead of sprting ahead of competitors. no wonder china has forged ahead. at least we should buckle up and not mess up the challenges china has seen. but the most important thing is - if the opposition is no better than the incumbent - how do we tackle the situation ?

however, that the incumbent should be replaced at least once in 10 years is a must! we had one too many years of single party rule

Media has been asked not to report the status of FDI Bill

DMK had said that the suspence will be broken on the spot.It is broken. There is no suspense or surprise.

Secondly NOTE
" In Parliament today, MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi was busy in the Central Hall meeting a number of Congress leaders to assess the impact of his withdrawal of support to the UPA as well as Kiran Kumar Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh." What do you sniff?

The Parliamentary procedure has become a business.

Politics is the most lucrative business without demanding any merit or investment.
