Yes. He tweeted and can therefore be arrested. However, the words "Any information which he knows to be false" will save him. He can claim that he did not know that the words he used were false.

Sibal`s law
by daniel thorat on Nov 01, 2012 07:18 PM  | Hide replies

Criminals having committed heinous crimes such as rape, murder, serial murders, huge scams and a variety of other crimes are kn own to go scot free in the Supreme Court. In the meanwhile, such criminals enjoy bails i.e. they are not in prison. Therefore, is this not encouraging people to go in for the bigger crimes rather than things like "twitting"?

all of them are so clean and gentlemanly, honest and work day in day outfor the aam aadmi. each time they are charged with grave charges they deny it outright. when they make some grave and unwanted comments they are misquoted by the media.

As soon as some allegation against any MP or politician is levelled, according to them the Democracy is endangered or the Parliament is offended. How? No body knows.
