Srilanka is bipolar country in the sense of northern ireland with Irish catholic/irish protestent divide) and of the then integrated Pakistan , consisting of the present Bangladesh(with two different language and ethnicity) and of earlier Malaya(with considerable popululation of Chineese in their country which it solved by separating Singapore from it).
the foreign and national policies of development of our country need not be tailored the basis of practice of diplomacy by most of the unitary cultural, linguistic,ethnic countries of the world. we need not follow the others and can set our own standard and priorities. we and the others also should understand that our requirement and circumstances are different from the others. there is no one fit size for all the countries.
