'The Golden Shawl' adorning the triumvirate ( Ms. Gandhi, Mr. Manmohan and Mr. Pranab ) have been presented by the DMK representative in the UPA meeting Mr. TR Baalu. They posed for photograh with the 'golden shawl' given by DMK. The Congress is again indebted to DMK for the gesture! Wait and see how Congress will present the DMK - either dropping 2G case or one more ministerial portfolio ?

CPI(M) has, thus, not only endorsed candidature of Mr. Pranab, but also the role of DMK and 2G matter.

What is new in it. CPIM has earlier also supported the UPA-I Government for 5 years with the the non-Congress votes they have gained from West Bengal and Kerala. They do not have any principle. Even they were ready to make Mayawati the Prime Minister after withdrawal of support to UPA-1. The are the most unprinciple lot amongst the entire political spectrum.
Was Prativa Patel a uncorrupted person; there are allegations that her family members committed murder and theft. Why did the CPI(M) supported her then? What about Ansari? What good had he done for the country to deserve the post of the Vice President?
This idiot Prasenjit is making excuse as the South Indians did in 1996. Karat-Yachury said there are about to start Revolution in JNU so Jyoti basu cannot be the PM.
It is good that he is kicked out by the same South Indians.
However, they had no objection when anignorant farmer Deva Gaura became the PM, because he is also South Indian.

I say yes because our Country is running fine at present and will run efficiently in future also. Congress or Communists it does not matter.Whoever wins the race thats good for Country at present. Above all Pranab Mukherjee has all the experience of a Crisis Manager for a long time.

I want to say just one things that in politics there are 2lines one strategical and other one is tactical line. Inside the party's lots of debate must be come upon . But inside the party there are some discipline. We believe that democratic centralism is the main strength of modern communist party in India. If any one violet this rules and regulation, the person must be expelled from party. Hence, party had been taken the correct decision.

Prasensjit, Come and fight in the election, then you will realise about your Marx theory and reality. In Indian democracy you must not think too much about idealism like Marxism, Leninism or Gandhism. You are elected by the people and you have to work for them. Your Marx theory won't work in the country like India. Here you have to put emotion, love, respect. Nothing wrong is with CPM by supporting Pranab Mykherjee. You can talk several things sitting in AC room, but come to the ground zero, then you will see the reality, your so called theory won't work. I am very happy that people like you has been removed from CPM, there are so many like you in CPM, must be removed. Actually people like you are main obstacles for Left movement in India. That is why Left parties are in three states only-West Bengal, Tripura and Kerala. Left parties should think Indian situation for their movement, not global, then they will earn support. In US or Cuba something happens and here Left parties will impose strike, people won't accept that. Prasenjitbabu, think Indian.

I don't mean that. I mean that there are rooms for Left parties to extend their support base according to our country's situation. Regarding future of our country, you must know that till now right parties like Cong, BJP, Janata have been ruling our country. But see our situation. Today Indian economy is not that much affected by Global recession, because Left parites are acting as buffer. If you see the situation of Spain, Portugal, Greece it is horrible. I don't want Left parties to rule India(it never happens), but they should act as buffer. Too much capitalism or too much socialism are bad. Due to Socialism Soviet Union got demolished, I feel present crisis in capitalist countries is to some extent crisis in earlier Soviet Union, they might crash. In this sense, we Indians are better shaped, we are adopting middle path. But if we go for too much capitalism, they difference between rich and poor will be much more (now it is daily becoming more and more) they it will be dangerous. In this context, I feel Left parties have some role to play. ANd these people like Prasenjit don't know the reality, that is why they are talking all nonsense. I want to mean that.
