Pranab da for the last 40 years is with congress and a real congressi. He got addicted in doing better things for the G family and congress. By this he became a pet slave of 1o jp. He will be supporting congress whether right or wrong due to his his long period addiction. Old habits die hard. He will perform all types dirty politics through back doors, it is for sure.

the writer forgets that abdul kalam also signed suspension order of bihar assembly at midnight and that too when he was in some other country. may be he does not remember
the writer forgets that declaration of emergency is also a constitutional provision.the writer says,"The President's oath of office requires him or her to 'preserve, protect and defend the Constitution'. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, essentially, chose to preserve, protect and defend Indira Gandhi's rule".Let me clarify I do not support emergency. if one remembers jayaprakashji was also inciting armed forces.

that's the real reason why he is getting overhelming support of legislatures even in oppsition too(remember bjp can't find its own candidate and resorted to support sangama)
TO SEE AT LEAST WHETHER THIS PRESIDENT OF INDIA HANGS AFSAL GURU, KASAB AND OTHER PAKIPORKI TERRORISTS IN INDIA? IF HE IS NOT ACTING BY REJECTING MERCY PETITION, HE MAY HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE OF 2ND TERM PRESIDENT POST. LET US HOPE HE WILL REJECT MERCY PETITION SENT BY CONGICHAMCHAS TO PROTECT THIS TRAITORS AND LIVING WITHOUT ANY FEAR AND DARE.
President always works as rubber stamp of ruling party, signing whatever ruling party send to him. It is a post for enjoying old age by retired politicians by going for world tour and picnic with family members and spending crores of poor Indians and tax payers money. Pranab, or sangma or Pratibha as President, it do not make any difference. it is better to abolish the post of President and Governors to end wastage of money.

if president is not from ruling party then only we can hope of cross checking and suspending of wrong decisions.
