The fundamental problem with our Journalistic community is they dont even know the basic duties of democratic institutions. They just carried away by the short term vote catching agenda being carried away by politicians.
The duty of ministers and elected representatives are to make laws for the benefit of the people. Thats the reason they have been called Law makers. It is the duty of the beurocracy to make sure the implementation of such laws.
Attending drought is an implementation matter not a law making matter. It is the duty of beurocracy to attend this. ( They have been paid by tax payers money to do this)
To catch vote minsters and politicians may go to drought/flood places. It is a sheer waste of tax payers monies.

Yes. I second your opinion. But as a representative of people, an MLA/Minister has to inspect/monitor/guide the implementation measures by bureaucracy.
Ultimately, the welfare of people during crisis is important!

WHY YOU PEOPLES ARE GETTING SUFFOCATE ON RSS, THERE ARE EVERY PARTY,CAST,HOME DIFFERENCES ARE EVERY CORNER OF THE WORLD.RSS IS ONE, THAT ALWAYS LOVE INDIA & READY TO SACRIFICE FOR INDIA NOT LIKE SUCH A PEOPLES LIKE YOU!
indian society is in pathetic social disorder. country is divided at many levels and fronts scuh as religion-, caste, race, region that further leads self centered political behaviour. recent example of this is Modiii-. politicians should lern from sonia- as she declined to accept pm post. such decency is not reflected in any other leader
i was happy that people of karnataka voted for BJP.. people wanted change from the wayus of JDS and Congress.. now.. BJP has prooved itself to be the worst among the three and people will go back to Congress.. now it is a common thinking that every one (all parties) is corrupt but atleast work happened in the other regimes.. under BJP there is guarantee that there is no governance and no work happening.. what a shame.. what a nice oppurtunity wasted.. purely by squabling and internal fighting. .. bjp leaders have fought each other more than they fought JDS or cong leaders..
