cangras is oppressing common man!
by Grizzly on Dec 25, 2012 07:57 AM

As britishers used to use all sorts of violenncce on Indians, cangras is using the same methods to suppress us!

Everyone knows that cangras was the brainchild of britishers to control Indians and thats what they have been doing for decades!

We will not tolerate this oppression anymmore! cangras is using the police and all the force they can use on civilians! Shame on them!

How can a govt use force on its own people?

Cant the common man protest against such horrible crimes?

And if at least all the protestors were good and respecting females, this would not happen. Exaggerated figures will make things more worst..

Increase the police to population ratio....
by hawkeye on Dec 24, 2012 07:59 PM  | Hide replies

The major reason for all the lack of law and order in India is simply this : the police to population ratio is just 130 per 100000 people, well below the minimum police strength of 222 per 100000 people recommended by the UN.

Law and order is needed for healthy progress of the country in all sectors, and this is essentially provided by a good and effective police force.

All developed and progressive nations have a very good police to population ratio. France (356), Germany (298 ),Great Britain( 307 ), U.S.A (256),Spain (511),Belgium(373), Malaysia (370),Singapore(752) are examples.

Good law and order ensures a healthy society and a good background for economic development as well for obvious reasons.

If India aspires to be a developed nation, it should first increase the police to population ratio from its measly 130 at present to at least the UN recommended minimum police strength of 222.

Otherwise all these crimes and protests will keep on happening without any end at sight.

The Indian government need not get tense and worried about the costs of maintaining a 222 strong police to population ratio, as the strong economic development that comes with good law and order will more than compensate for the greater investment in the policing sector.

Dr manmohan singh has done right thing in assuring the nation of corrective speedy measures and we should respect and honor his committment. These demonstrations should stop immediately. media has to play major role in this regard. Media should be constructive in approach and look to national intetrests instead of marketing its news channels.

Rape cases solutions thereof
by Ram Niwas on Dec 24, 2012 12:25 PM

We should go in for the occurance of such cases as to what are major reasons behind such crimes .
In my view the influx of large laser force to big cities from regions is adding to these problems . Young uneducated unemployed boys are mostly responsible. It is national problem. We have to impart proper education to poor as well. That way we can improve society to some extent. Mere dharnas and demonstrations will do no good.We have to start helping poor in this regard and start executing our duties properly.

Dont use feminine abuses
by M on Dec 24, 2012 12:19 PM  | Hide replies

Dont use feminine abuses ..these are root cause of atrocities against women.
English abusive words are translated into regional langs and used in everyday conversation to show masculine power.
Dont use female-GAALIs anymore.
Shame on using such GAALIs
