It is the people of India who should be blamed and not the politicians. Who has elected these politicians? It is the people. In the beginning of our democracy the people of india were mostly uneducated and hence they simply worshipped the leaders. This happened because the british and before them the kings cultivated a culture of 'worship the boss'. As the level of education improved things should have turned towards better but did that happen ? Industrialization is not the solution to any problem. Population control, raising the education level of the entire population and balancing everything like resource utilization is the only way. Our PM says that more FDI is needed now because the condition is the same as in 1991, then what we did between 1991 and 2012 ? If the first flow of FDI did not help us even a bit, that is what the PM says, then how the second flow of FDI will help? What is the guarantee? Problem lies with us and FDI is not the solution.
keep labouring away to convince people that the poor have no complaints at all about their lot and that they carry on with vigour and hope regardless of their wretched state!
No end to the long line of rascals who keep coming up with such stock rhetoric!

That's one of the problems. We have joke hungry people who can't understand the importance of an article. India today is a trivializing society. Sad.
We have sufficient professionals to lead the country to highhest peak, but we lack political and administrative WILL to bring drastic reforms in this direction.

with the kind of eletorial system, we can never become a country. We will become worse than Uganda within next ten years
