Indian govt will never have big-power ambitions.
by Jagadeesan R on Apr 21, 2012 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

The Indian govt will never have big-power ambitions. It always moves at it's own pace which is what gives us stability. If the heritage foundation is not happy with india's approach, in my view that is a very good sign for india, that it's doing the right thing.
The heritage foundation has the kind of people who specialize in blowing bubbles non-stop, breaking down the US economy. I dont think average American citizens will agree to drink the kool-aid for much longer. The US financial system is already the laughing stock of the world and even a fifth grader in most of the world knows that powerful US institutions are running possibly the most audacious ponzi scheme in the history of mankind. How much more money can be pulled out of thin air? And these guys claim to be leaders of the world-big joke. India will always have macroeconomic stability unlike the US which is today an unstable and bizarre economy controlled by nutcase white-collar criminals in the federal reserve, wall street to make billions for them. If India is cautious in engaging with the US govt, thats exactly the right thing to do. Who can trust a group of crazies to do the right thing?

Greece, which is the most bankrupt country in Europe after the so-called collapse of the European economy, has 10 times more per-capita income than the SUPER-STABLE India's!!!

If the worst European economy is 10 times better than the best Indian economy, imagine the gap between the best European economy with the worst Indian economy!!

Indian economy fairytale not getting affected by global economic melt-down is a BIG FART which doesn't even stink anymore because we have gotten used to it!!!

ask US to arrest Warren Anderson first
by onnu kadaise on Apr 21, 2012 05:39 PM  | Hide replies

ask US Govt to arrest Warren Anderson first, who escapes due to support from US Govt for morethan 2 decades after killing some many people in the Bhpoal Gas leak- which does not looks like an accident, but a WMD live test by a Organisation to sell its Product (Deadly GAS - a Weapon for Mass Destruction (WMD) attack) to US Military.

No other country other than India will show this much tolerance to US and US people, even after the deliberate Bhopal Gas Leak which killed 1000s of people.

With this type of Duplicity -Walter Lohman demanding celing limit on Compensation Liability to civlians in case of any Nuke Disaster due to poor reactors supplied by US companies.

If US feels, that we the Indian has too buy even the Scraps of US without any liability on their part and if we resist it is not a Strategic Association - let it be.

What has US given to India till now?
by Nitin Sharma on Apr 21, 2012 05:19 PM

It is only in the last 10 years that India has started to see US as an ally - otherwise, they have been siding with Pakistan for decades.

US slapped sanctions when we tested the nuclear bomb in 1998. Even now, the relationship lacks depth and is primarily at people-to-people level...

Since India's rise and growing importance is imminent, the US has aligned with us - mainly for their self-interest. Let's not forget, US has said many times that their international policies are based on their interests and nothing else.

India should too keep our own interests first and align with countries as needed. We should try to rise econimically in the next 2-3 decades - this will happen at the cost of US and Europe, hence they will align with India whether they like it or not.

Why the Americans are a worried Tribe.
by pradeep kumar on Apr 21, 2012 05:18 PM

Who knows who need whom most. But the statement made by Lohman is clears the idea that they are pained by Indian on all those dealing which can strenghten their present stagnant economical front. All he mentioned in his speech it seems those issues are more important to us then them. Now the BRICS nation are able to dictate the coming world order in all aspect of life they are puzzled and out of frustration the above statement are made.In coming 20 years or so the world order will be different and that is a hard fact we should accept.

apply reverse pyscology over hungry indians
by D S on Apr 21, 2012 04:58 PM

...desperate to go abroad because our politicians have built our economy this way to feed the videshis their cannon fodder.

india cannot make lot of money by exporting labour in long term. Because eventually the exported labour would settle in some country abroad for making his living.
videshi instead sell their product like oracle, microsoft, S A P, etc etc. they can rejected slaves trained into their software and standards anytime. SAME WITH EVERY INDUSTRY.

We have sufficient number of people who are hating US just on vimsical ground, viz. all left wing, all muslims, and many others. Every country in his democratic way has its own interest, but business interest are such, where both parties win. We must think to bring prosperity not hatred.
