by nakkra@rediffmail.com on May 19, 2011 02:29 AM

He did it ! he did it by himself. Thanks man ! The crap old Communist party is out now. Do nto even dream to come back in Bengal. Kerala you may , but only with help from communals like Muslim league or KC.

This guy even parted with Sonia's corrupt gang for several years and completely ruined the CPM.

Thanks again.

bunglow chatterjee
by ar on May 19, 2011 01:41 AM

somnath chaterjee lives in a bunglow and he is a communist. Many rich landlords joined CPM to protect their land from redistribution. preach something and practice just the opposite. Show one top CPM fellow who gave his land to the poor? Jothi basus son who was just a worker in some small company became big businessmen and he always refused to declare his assets !

to be buried
by ar on May 19, 2011 01:33 AM  | Hide replies

Land reforms happened in other states as well. For example Karnataka. Left people forcibly redistributed land chasing away the landowners who held that land by virtue of their merits like leadership qualities, heroic deeds during kings rule, business acumen, studiousness etc. It is fine once in few centuries if redistribution takes place but those who have the qualities will become rich again and again. Left should have educated the poor to think positive and grow step by step, instead they taught people to strike and loot and it entered their blood and they did just that. To maintain control Left developed cadres which was nothing but a blackmailing brainwashing and goonda force in reality. Left in bengal won election only for one or two terms, first 10 years, thereafter it was all rigging and proxy voting by CPM cadre. In any case left theory is only for books and not for reality, and all nations have rejected it and moved forward. It is time for Karat and commies to take sanyas and head for their graves, with their philosophy. Both deserve to be buried forever.

REDs hardly care for public.

It is too early!!
by Volga Volga on May 18, 2011 11:46 PM  | Hide replies

May be Prakash Karat should hold that comment for another 2 years to see the difference and compare what might have went wrong. Land is the only issue Karat is percieving as they encashed the credit till it reached it saturation while Bengalis were comparing themselves with globalisation benefits which other states recieved. How long people and their next generations will keep on giving you that credit of land reforms?. May be if Mamata Benerje too does that same tactics in different ways?.

In addition, Bangaldeshi Migrants, Lack of new employment sources other than older thoughts by not changing with time like Chinese did, Lack of Development, letharginess which entered into communists heads along with full confidence that the system installed in last 30 years will not allow people to escape into another political party unless deliberately funnelled by Communists politbureau itself to selected parties.

Did communists realise that new sections of people were also aspiring for a place in their political system filled with nepotism?.

Most importantly, primary education in english deprivation not ticking them will be a warning signal about communists for other states too.

Did anyone from Bengali communists fraternity tell about these stories?.

1. The communist bureaucratic system deliberately used to create certain problems including religious tensions with Bangladesh boundaries and Darjeeling areas. Once the issue reached its peak, the political system used to make Jyoti Basu travel by cycle to remote villages to solve the issue like Messaiah?. Didn't you see the impact the ignorant and illiterate people might have had and felt , when all of the sudden changes and new thoughts of Buddheb would lead to disassociation of that from your cadre?.

2.Didn't the system installed by Jyoti Basu over the period started listening to specific commands and would resist with new changes and new people being brought into the system?.

3. What about survival tactics employed by Jyoti Basu behind the doors like asking the goondas, hooligans including anti nationals to rule as autonomous without disturing the governance?.
