Voters get the opportunity to ditch the corrupts by grabbing their freebies and voting for other contestants - found better than the corrupt lots. What is election commission of India doing this is nothing but an open bribe offered to cross-sections of society to vote for them. Elections should be fought on grounds of efficient governance, transparency and citizen empowerment. This is nothing but openly offering bribe to citizens. Please citizen file PIL in your respective courts against this mockery of democracy.
I request DMK or ADMK to come up something innovative like this

Tamilnadu has 2 reactors several hydro power & thermal station but all for solving other state electricity problem..... This is called Tamilian foolishness ......
These freebies are not for casting the votes... They are given to the people by the govt on the government expenses if they come to power. While it is unethical there is nothing illegal about it and so dont write nonsense that it is 2G money or scam money or EC should take action etc... EC cant do anything as it is all post election promises. TN is not Bihar or UP where politicians eat and eat everything themselves... Here they think of atleast doing something... However these Grinders or Mixers can do no good to them... They are just something better than nothing... But yes we need the actual development that should reach the poor and needy...

DMK has promised only mixer or grinder and not washing machine. Please get your facts right before writing these articles. This information is available on the net. What is wrong with rediff??? Can't u just get atleast the facts right??
