Indian literates increased to 74% from 64%.With increase in % of literate,population is also reporting slight drop in explosion..
Therefore,we need to try to achieve 95 % literacy as soon as possible.
Secondly,poor people donot have enough money for entertainment.So,they resort to sex.Result is population explosion.More and more condoms should be distributed free of cost among illiterate and poor people including rural areas so that they can enjoy sex as well as limit kids to max 2..

Education on planned families is confined to govt agencies like medical and health dept. The enforcement of a strict policy is the only solution. The possible solution is
1. Uniform civil code 2. One child per family 3. Ban on polygamy 4. Abolishing madarsa education 5. Corporates to take up the social cause

It is not clear how uniform civil code will reduce population 2.one child per family is ok but difficult to enforce. rather measures such as free or negligible price for easy to use contraceptive like 'Today' will help. 3. Again problem with maths n sociology.First polygamy is a rare phenomenon that too in an era of such high inflation. secondly with male /female ratio of 10/9,one male remains unmarried while in polygamy more than 1 male remains unmarried there for likely decrease of population rather than an increase

Polygamy isn't rare among certain section of Muslims, even in Kerala. True that this is not a reason for population increase, but it is socially unacceptable and needs to be stopped. The 'Arabi kalyanam' where wealthy old Arabs wed poor young Indian Mulsim girls (often underage) is an insult to all of us.
(A very small sect of Hindus also practise polygamy, but that is extremely rare these days)

1.Well,I will say this is hypothical to believe that only muslims produce more if your Uniform civil code is based on this assumption.If you look at the states where population growth is more,you will find that population is growing both among hindu and muslims.That too among the uneducated lot.So,education again determines the change in family planning approach.
Analogy is : all h1ndus cannot convert to xtianity because xtians have good population control.But,h1ndus should understand the underlying catalyst which ensures population control among xtians,that is none other than education.
2.One child:Even two children is acceptable.But some people are having 4,5,6 that should be made punishable by law.We cannot provide the "God' escape route to people who have more childress and claim their result of sex as "God's" wish !
3.Polygamy really does not matter if each of the wife is m0ther of 1-2 children.Because polygamy cannot increase the female to male ratio in the country.Over all,it will remain same even if one man marr1es 5 women.May be some men will be without wives,if some men marry more than one woman.

Yes,chandra.There has been trend by a group of ideologists who encash every opportunity to blame a particular kommnty for population growth where as the truth is that it is proportional to level of education.to these kmmnl elements,give any topic in the world n they will end up with their venom spewed
dont treat it as religion problem, treat it as standard of living issue, people who cannot afford to feed should not mal-nutrition their children by having more. Or, not being able to educate them properly.
once health, food and education standards are enforced, we can pressure those who violate it. who does not want things to be right for their children, barring exceptions.

even as indias population increases to unsustainable proportion it is not the larger part of problem but the rapid increase in muslims in the demography is going to pose a major threat. While other demographic sections will show a general preference towards decreasing the population with increasing prosperity and education it will e opposite for fanatic muslims. more money they will have more they will invest in having e children, this can be verified by comparing the population growth rate of arabs with similarly prosperous nations around the world. and even a few percent increase in islamic population from current levels could mean a catastrophe for the nation. its time indians should think about it and come with solution. this is a sociological issue to be scientfically debated and not at all something to do with communal hatred or animosity towards muslims.

Why should we? We want to become the WORLD POPULATION RECORD HOLDER at any cost.
Enemies say caste is bad or NO CASTE when they have to deny rights to Dalits. Look at how Buta Singh as Dalit was shunned by congress and nobody named MMS was allowed by hidden caste-ism by those who profess themselves as NO CASTE people. Dalits/etc should not fall into this no caste BS and fight for justice. time has come that Even UPPER CASTE will have to fight for poor among them Because we allowed so MANY TRAITORS INTO our economic zone under the sheep skin of hoodos, sSikhs, purabias, biharis, etc.
