refugees from 1947 partition from pak and later from bangladesh had none less than 6-8 children.
they lost 1-2, but multiplied 5 to 8 times and also became rich in delhi and mumbai.
whereas, jat farmers tried to have 1 or less than one son (adopt as well) so there is less conflict (sibling rivalry ) when farm land is given to next generation.

Western UP produces more grains than Punjab, yet it has most poverty due to largest migrant population. A Jat family in western UP has lesser children per family than their counter-parts with same earnings. Even less than the migrants to western-up.

What has happened is history - the birth rate today is the responsibility of people TODAY.
The birth rate in UP/Bihar is not the responsibilty of politicians in UP/Bihar or the East India Company or the Marathi people. It is the responsibility of people of UP/Bihar.

So marathis with same earning as Jats have twice the number of children as jats.
though the purabias and biharis with lesser earning have larger family due to less lavish lifestyle than the jats, rajputs, etc.

I will give you stats, DY patil had two wives, one in kolhapur and another in Mumbai. Lot of corruption acquired private colleges, donations, foreign cars, etc.
Ch. Charan singh only had one son in-spite of being very rich farmer and politician.

Enemies say caste is bad or NO CASTE when they have to deny rights to Dalits. Look at how Buta Singh as Dalit was shunned by congress and nobody named MMS was allowed by hidden caste-ism by those who profess themselves as NO CASTE people. Dalits/etc should not fall into this no caste BS and fight for justice. time has come that Even UPPER CASTE will have to fight for poor among them Because we allowed so MANY TRAITORS INTO our economic zone under the sheep skin of hoodos, sSikhs, purabias, biharis, etc.
Population explosion is the root cause of all the problems in our country. But no political party dares to make it an agenda of their election. At least they have not educated people about the problems of population. Unless it becomes a poll agenda there won't be any solution in near future and our country is heading to worse days. Also strict implementation of child labour laws in necessary to control population as the poor people see kids as a source of revenue to support their needs.

Just drive between Delhi and Agra, you will see it.

National Family Health Survey (you can Google their site) - the per couple fertility rates(i.e children born per couple) for some states are as follows
AP 1.9 Punjab 2.0 Maharashtra 2.1
India Average 2.7
UP 3.8 Bihar 4.0 (highest)
The states of UP/Bihar are the most populous and fastest growing in population on top of that. Not surprisingly they have most political power.
If you control population in a state in India - all that means is that there will be more migration to that state from UP/Bihar.

initially more of them were hodos now it is more moslems, how about equal treatment to both religions.
government has no clue about restoring tribal life and bring natural/forest balance. it is build on foolish concepts of Modern temples drilled deep into the psyche of people. Never though that fuel and fuel imports cannot be endless.

those who exploited hinduism and sikhism to climb up the indian political, business, government ranks also did huge amounts of damage be it Purabia/Bihari/etc babuas, pak-bangla hindu refugees and so on.
