Hmnn. Please come out of your ignorance. some points -
1. how much radiation can one person import.
2. have you heard about the radiation burns in the garbage dump in delhi.
3.do you know about radiation levels around you; and the mining standards in india.
4. I have known someone living near a uranium mine in rural india (of course one of the poorer illiterate states - benefits rest of country). There is a lot of cancer in the area. Please go to the area and measure the radiation levels in their homes etc. Please report your findings.
5. If you hate NRI's keep it to yourself. they are helping others by decreasing competition for food, jobs etc in a overpopulated land mass.

Yes you are right because these expats are actually facing more radiation in Indian cities then they had suffered in Tokyo.

I have stayed in US for 5 years and I find US far more better then India but I never tried compairing both the Countries and never bad mouthed my Country and laughed at it because I am staying in a better place. I feel people like you really not worth to there native country and they are good staying out side India only. Try not to visit India other wise you will also get polluted and if possible take your parents and relative also other wise you will be termed as selfish because you run away from a polluted country to a clean country leaving behind parents and relatives.

Western people are educated
by talk cool on Mar 21, 2011 10:44 PM  | Hide replies

When 9/11 happened in whole US not one dared to fly for 2-3 weeks.
When Egypt protests started then western people ran away.If some small thing happen in any place then Westerners run away in panic.
So do we call them educated?
Actually running in panic is not related to education. How can the author relate that?

Yep, because there was no "Drill" for 9/11 or Egypt protests.
But, there is drill for all common disasters in Japan. Earthquake, Tsunami, Fire, Volcano irruption.
And it is this "education" which keeps people calm and orderly during disaster.

Are all severely prejudiced against Indians.

They are all mentally diseased people.

Indians in Tokyo did naturally what anybody who is not accustomed to a severe earthquake will do.

And you do not measure radiation levels with Geiger counters.

A different device is used.

This Paramesh Bhatt is a shallow individual.

Yes one do measure radio activity with Geiger counters and the unit of measure is Rontgen.
A Geiger counter, also called a Geiger-Mller counter, is a type of particle detector that measures ionizing radiation. They are notable for being used to detect if objects emit nuclear radiation.
Yes there are other devices with other names as well.

Japanese!! and the White Standards!!
by varghese on Mar 21, 2011 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

Finally its proved that tech cannot help when nature strikes..Jap's also are like other humans nothing so special about them..nothing worked like they keep yelling about..the whole thing crashed like a pack of cards..not much difference between they manage things as the Indians..the same panic the same distress..

India is touted as an scum bag during such crises..but the same has been exhibited in Japan..

the media is very kind and sensitive to the Japs, Europeans and the American I mean the whites during such crises but the same has not been seen when India was bruised very badly during such times..not double standards but white standards!!!

Yes Indians are scums of the earth, what you missed was the discipline of the Japanese people.
had the tragedy struck India if there was say for every death by natural calamity there would be one with lack of discipline.
Death toll would be twice that of natural calamity.
90% of japans building which are built to stand earthquake stood upright.
What made them collapse was the tsunami.
No one on this earth can wage war against 30foot waves with million ton of pressure behind it and another billion ton of water.
It can not be contained by any kind of drainage system.
Japanese did very well.
Had it been India the disaster would have had been twice the size and with no one to take control.
Indian Prime Minister and his are use less when it comes to handling such calamity, nor are any minister or official of any other party regardless of which one.
Indian political people are a bunch of neuters.
They are not capable of organizing a drinking party in a brewery, let alone manage a disaster at very high scale.
INDIANS ARE SCUMS, ACCEPT IT.

You comments proves that how selfish you are. I think this Selfishness you have learned from Japan only. Its really humourus knowing that there are people who can sell there soule for few dollars. What ever it is, what ever limited resource the country has, what ever problem the country has we should not bad mouthed our mother country infront of other country.
You must have a family and in that family some time there will be good moments and some time there will be bad moments.
Do you bad mouth the bad moments, do you start abusing your relatives, parents and other because of that.I dont think you will say yes to it then how come you are commenting the same about your mother country

The first thing you need to learn from Japanese, Brits, Israelis and Germans etc is:
NOT TO CONDEMN YOUR OWN PEOPLE
not matter what.

Yes, Always know the deficiencies and work towards rectifying them
but DO NOT CONDEMN on a public forum your own country men using words like scum, dregs

All Indians are not like you said they are.

Some in the political establishment and among the babulog are.

Read this article published three days back and decide why he is so proud to be associated with Japan.

"All Nippon Airlines charges a whopping Rs 2,02,381 for a one way economy class ticket from Tokyo to Mumbai on March 22. A flight via Singapore can cost you Rs 2,33,432 on the same day!As more people leave the country fearing a nuclear disaster, airlines are turning the crisis into an opportunity to mint money.
Japan Airlines charges Rs 1,26,872 for a economy class ticket from Tokyo to Mumbai.
India's national airline, Air India has, however, not hiked fares. Air India's highest fare from Tokyo to New Delhi is Rs 44,556 and lowest is Rs 31,500 in March.
The airline has gone a step ahead to help passengers in distress. It will not levy penalties for re-booking, cancellations and refunds on all types of tickets for travel to and from Japan up to March 31.
