Silly Supreme court
by Sathish N on Mar 02, 2011 10:35 PM  | Hide replies

The bench asked, "Is the minister (Raja) saying that the prime minister's suggestions are arbitrary, unfair and capricious"?

If that is what he wrote, that is what he meant. There is no reason to tone down the meaning simply because someone is senior in age. The message will then lose it's meaning and content!

What an absurd drama
by Sanjeev Sharma on Mar 02, 2011 10:33 PM

everyone except the SC knows that manmohan has zero political authority.
If SC cannot understand this basic fact, they should resign en masse and see some psychiatrists.

Baby sitter SC -- Funny
by Bala krishnan on Mar 02, 2011 10:06 PM  | Hide replies

When did SC turned baby sitter for PM/people and question them on how to write letters? What right does G S Singhvi and A K Ganguly have on question Raja for using words? Is it not breaching freedom of expression? Probably someone should file cases against these biased judges.

its the otherway round, Law is strict on higher caste (are they really higher) and soft/liberal on lower (privilaged) caste.

To be precise.. money matter and nothing else.. otherwise, cant be anay Mayas, Lalus...

Raja's letter to PM MM singh
by samir mehta on Mar 02, 2011 10:01 PM  | Hide replies

Supreme court should know that respectg has to be earned and commanded not demanded. Manmohan Singh has reached the nadir of humanity by siding with perpetrators of various scams. He does not desreve any respect.

by Bala Sundaram on Mar 02, 2011 09:55 PM

SC is right in admonishing Raja over his intemperate letter to PM. I hope SC will admonish the PM too for not stopping Raja from looting the nation under his very nose and despite his original objection!

PM and Sonia shd sit in jail
by Ramesh on Mar 02, 2011 09:53 PM

PM committed bigger mistakes by allowing his ministers to loot public money. Not only that. PM is hampering the investigation efforts by appointing favorable CVCs who are actually involved in the scam. This highlights that PM is also dirty and shd go to jail along with Sonia and Raja.

Why is SC concerned about the language?
by Arindam Gupta on Mar 02, 2011 09:53 PM

How is that relevant to the matter at hand? What the SC has to determine is if there is enough ground to nullify the spectrum allocation. Any idea? Any one? Why do we always have to have a very touchy feely approach to everything? I find this ridiculous.
