Bull S..t. This is NOT Hindu culture. The Talwars, if guilty, are an aberration, much disliked by all people, including Hindus. Wait for the court's verdict / truth to be proven.
Honor Killers (what an oxymoron) are no representative of Hindus, please. The KPs are an old administrative system, unwiling to relinquish power, just a matter of time, till they join the Zamindars, in museums.
Last Month the CBI has closed this case & said that it cannot be investigated further. But after the court ordered that they should proceed further the same CBI is telling that they are having evidence against the Talwars... What does it mean??? Whether it means that they haven't investigated well in the past or they have hidden the evidence against the Talwars???

Abortion is no doubt condemnable. But can anybody deny the cost of raising a girl? Its much higher than a boy. Now today's girls are careerists. So along with the cost of marriage there is also the added cost of the higer education and career building of the girl. Even if the girl is working she will still expect and ask her father to pay for the bills of her marriage. Also keeping a girl in an unknown city like Delhi or Mumbia for her higher education is costlier than a boy. Boys can take a lot of hardship. They can get into the general class of a train. But for a girl she will always prefer sleeper class if not AC or flight. Now after spending so much of money she will go to another family. Now the guys generally stay with their families. Today's men are getting closer to their parents and look after them after witnessing the idiosyncracies of so called modern women.Now women and feminists may not like my words. But this is practical and in case of the education or marriage nobody will come forward to help? So why to point towards others?Even a month ago a lady judge was reported in the media to list her daughters as liabilities. Only a fool can deny the huge cost associated with girl children

you mean boys do not have any marriage cost? not only that boys bring in bahus who create problems in the family many times. besides boys are less emotional hence they feel less about their parents many times. so boys are worse than girls.

its good the servant has been killed by the parents. i defend them because he has no business to seduce an underaged minor girl. but the parents are also to blame because they killed an innocent girl. its entirely their fault to employ an adult man as a servant and keep him in their house when they know that they have a teenaged girl in the house. They have no right to kill their daughter and they should be punished severely otherwise this will set a precedant to honour killings where some psycho parents will start killing their daughters in the guise of honour killing. But who knows how far CBI is correct? We all know their quality and credibility when it comes to investigations. Just a month back they claimed that they don't have evidence and so they don't know who murdered aarushi. Now, after media pressure and public glare, maybe they just to escape from their incompetancy and get a conviction so that the case will get closed so might be they are holding the parents responsible? So Indians and media being sentimental fools should stop jumping to conclusions

If a mature adult has an affair with a minor, its entirely the fault of the mature adult because the girl is a minor. I would expect intellectuals and intelligent people who understand law to understand the concept better rather than village idiots like you.
