WESTERN HYPOCRISY!
by Kabeer on Jun 30, 2011 02:30 PM  | Hide replies

It always amazes me as to why the so called educated Indians fail to see the apparent western hypocrisy, particularly regarding democracy.

Democracy is a slow moving machine albeit a sustainable one. One party rules, Autocracies, dictatorships are volatile; either they skyrocket the nation into prosperity or plunge to abysmal depths.

But the current form of democracy in the west is the last phase of political development in their societies. West too had dictatorships, monarchies etc., and democracy is the latest one. In comparison to the democracies in the East, Western democracies are old and thereby matured.

The West propagates democracy theory to sustain its hegemonic and economic and market interests.

The same west which propagate and support democratic revolutions in China and in North Korea, do not support when it comes to the Middle east. They dont do it in the Middle East because all the regimes there are puppet regimes of the West with the exception of Iran.

West instigated prodemocratic movement in China, because democracy slows down the progress as it develops several forces that pull the nations progress in all directions, thereby slowing down the decision making process and even when done it will be a compromised one.

That gives the West an edge in poking in the affairs of the nation to create its own markets and sustaining other geostrategic interests.

In India, media is funded by the West and COngress and BJP have no difference. West BJP li

It is true that globalist forces like America and NATO want to control petro-chemical resources.By chance, muslims are inhabitants of those regions.

You will never see American taking interest in Somalia which is the epicentre of piracy. Why ? Because Somalia has no oil.

There is a design of western forces and their agents to establish a certain world order which is under their control. You see,how they have again appointed a westerner as IMF boss.

The West want to throw away Gaddafi in Libya and the current regime in Iran. That is why they are supporting the democratic movements there. By the way, the so called democratic movements there supported by the West are not real democrats but West favouring groups dubbed by the west as democrats.

Hehehehehehe...forget Naxals, they listen to and understand only the language of brute might. We can bet anything that the Yechurys and Karats (both miya and biwi) must be undergoing palpitations and convolutions. Watch out for a CPM "historic press conference" to "interpret" their Chinese comrades' volte face on one of history's bloodiest mass genocidists. The commie jokers here will soon be issuing inanities like how the CPC's plainspeak has been "misinterpreted", "misquoted" and "twisted out of context" by the "burgeois-capitalist media" and the "running dogs of imperialism" and how their great god Mao was always right. Of course, how can mere capitalist and burgeois mortals ever hope to fathom the great minds of commies? Commies will croak, unless of course, Diggy beats them to it by declaring the CPC's honest assessment as a conspiracy of "Hindu terrorists" out to malign "glorious socialism"

so much can be achieved
by Ashok Gupta on Jun 30, 2011 02:25 PM  | Hide replies

Just stop and think that the people in power in India can do so much. Even now there are villages where water is not available, cities get bad quality of water, our distribution system is in a mess and this is going on for decades, when will it improve. Last year lakhs of tonnes of grain rotted because of lack of storage godowns - this year again the same story - what has the Govt.done in this past one year ? FCI says land is not available for constructing godowns - a very lame excuse - it could be outsourced to Pvt.sector or request land from Railways. Maybe we are a land of plenty and can afford to waste

Water, I mean good drinking water is not available in many cities either. There are no good roads in cities either. Only difference is, we pay more taxes in cities for not having anything.

Not at all, many people have criticized gandhis and nothing really has happened other than some useless rhetoric from their chamchas.

You still cannot do it in China since all chamchagiri is state sponsored.
