Such a lot of money., Lying dead
by navnit =nick = mandalaywala on Jul 06, 2011 09:58 PM  | Hide replies

Most TEMPLEs in India are rotting., even the famous ones of Lord Shiva in Pune area.
No proper Parking facility, No proper walkways.,
and during rainy season, its all dirty.
Temples usually get a lot of money but they are not properly spent and invested.
Temples are a source of Tourism and proper investments into their infrastructure, will attract tourists and help to create more wealth.
The food also served there is not at all palatable.
Nick

Nick,
Dont take the food if it is not palatable !
Earn your own bread!
And dont worry much about temples, these temples will not be seen within next 20-30 years if kangreess continues to rule!
Use your time to decide which desert cult you want to join!

Idiot Indians.....

Why don't they look into the wealth of Churches & Masjids? Both the Vetican & the masjid at Mecca are the richest places of the worship on the earth. The same is true for the Queen of England. These congi/commies run corrupts don't even dare to say anything about it.

I tell you why. In no time this whole treasure will be stolen out of India & deposited in Europe/America. Their loot master, Mafia mama, is on the looting spree & idiots love to do anything for her.

Remember congi/commies have been doing so since independence. A big treasure of Gayatridevi simply disappered in mid 70's during Gandi's rule.

This treasure is worth 90,000 crore. Do you know Mannu had his team take out 70,000 crore from CWG just a week before the game? Do you know the 2G scam is worth 27,00,000 crore? Mafia mama just gifted 36,000 crore to her sisters in a bank in NY not too long ago & Subramaniam Swamy has already filed a case for the same in the court?

Rs 90,000 crore found in Kerala temple belongs to Lord Vishnu
by Shankar Srinivasan on Jul 06, 2011 09:53 PM  | Hide replies

Law is an ass. A deity is a juristic person and fight a case? Appalling. One more example of the archaic laws in India.

If Lord Vishnu was to exist in person, he himself would have asked for this colossal wealth to be used for public good.

Now that Lord Vishnu doesn't exist in person, people purportedly acting on his behalf ( don't know who authorized them to ) will , as it were, speak Lord Vishnu's mind.

And if someone dares oppose it, he/she is anti religion, anti Hindu, anti God depending upon what caste/creed/ belief system that individual subscribes to.

It is not Lord Vishnu who wants the money to belong to the temple. But trustees of the temple who wield power and influence courtesy the wealth they manage and control.

Mr. Shankar Srinivasan,

How are you able to speak Lord Vishnu's mind? Forget the Rs. 90k Cr, the entire universe belongs to Lord Vishnu. Rich and poor have existed from time immemorial. Had equitable distribution of wealth been so easy and possible, poverty would never have existed that is to say even during Lord Rama's time. But that has never been the case. At present the wealth belongs to the temple and only the temple authorities have the right to decide on its use.

Hariharan shankaran
Padmanabhaswamy temple
by Hariharan shankaran on Jul 06, 2011 09:46 PM

The way the ornaments and offerings were kept very secretly, it is a clear indication that the King of Travancore of that period wanted to safeguard this from plundering. Once temples were attacked by a force to plunder the valuables after knowing that at the time of installation of Dieties lots of Navarathnas will be placed as "Manipoorakam" below the idol and also under the Dhwajasthambham. Hence the offerings thus guarded belongs to the Diety and on those days the gold value was less than Rs.10/- a soverign. Till few days back the temple area was calm and now see the excited result.
