@Tamil Lover. Every church in the country. Just go have a look. BTW, change your name to Church lover.
Every one has want to temple money. No one interest to take back black money at swiss bank. No one can touch single paisa of christain missionaries donation or sources of funds.
No one can take finger against the real estate mafia ( especially in kerala) and fraud business men ( some politicinas in kerala)

No other temple or Church or Mosq is known to hide any treasure dude. So it so happens that this is the only one out there. If there is....all of em should be opened and accounted for.
Here we have wealth which can be used for the betterment of people. Uplift poor people in kerala, use for real needy for health purpose etc etc. But some rich people are so jealous that they argue that it should be kept unused until the end of mankind. are these original piece or comedy piece?

Yeah and then we open up communist party offices, congress offices, politicians accounts etc. One by one.
First of all, the figure of 90,000 crores seem imaginative. Has anyone given out an authoritative figure? The material value certainly can't be that much.
Which means the figure is probably arrived at considering the antique value and historical significance, which makes it priceless. But then, no one can sell these and realize a price. Because, one it belongs to the temple, and number two it has historical value therefore its our duty to preserve it.
Therefore, in all likelihood, they will end up in a museum and will sit there pretty for the centuries to come.
Talk of money wasted! If only had the Maharajas and temple authorities used it for building institutions that could have helped society, especially Hindus. In Kerala, Christians and Muslims have better institutions. With so much money, the Maharaja and the temple authorities could have done a lot.
Money kept in gold and gems will attract thieves and politicians, and now the Government of Kerala has the added headache of guarding this treasure. Hopefully a museum will cover the expenses of guarding it!
