It is obviously a ploy by the ruling Congress to divert attention from the mega scams that they have been perpetuating. Incidentally, an article in the German magazine Schweizer Illustrierte in 1991 listed Rajiv Gandhi's balance in a named Swiss Bank at 2.5 Billion Swiss Francs - equivalent to Rs. 13,200 Crores at today's exchange rate. And guess what his widow Sonia and Rahul declared in their 2009 election as assets ... a combined wealth of Rs. 5 Crore. Obviously none of that will be probed or brought to light. It is important to not lose sight of the real issue by getting side-tracked. And BTW, the wealth of the temple is that of the deity. It has been maintained for centuries, to use as they please. NO GOVERNMENT OF THE DAY HAS A CLAIM ON IT. It was not looted by the temple as some are suggesting ... it was accumulated through donations over centuries. Wonder what people have to say about the land and wealth taken over by the different churches and mosques in the name of God. They are surely worth a lot more, especially if you add the money that is funneled through the Vatican and Mecca.

even the wealth of AP Swamy temple pales before the money looted by Sonia-Rajiv combine. SG has looted nearly quarter of APSwamy wealth in such a short period. The temple money was collected over centuries, whereas SG has aggrandized wealth within a span of two decades. How much has been passed on to others by SG for safekeeping, only God knows !

Possible,that way vatican will have direct access over the wealth as Digvijay jee had converted to christianity to appease Sonia jee..
The wealth was collected as taxes by the travancore kings from the poor and the toiling masses.It rightly belongs to the masses.The wealth should be used for the upliftment of the poorest of the poor in a democratic country like ours

The travancore kings were quite just. Bcoz people still respect them despite the Commie influence. If this is gold collected from the masses I think the treasure should do some common good for the people of Gods Own Country(Who said miracles dont happen?). Lesson to be learnt. Dont mess with Lawyers when U have a pile of gold hidden and they know about it.

first ask congies to recover the black money stashed abroad and distribute to poor. then we'll see about this. the whole episode seems to be diversionary tactic of congies from corruption/ black money etc, with anti-Hindu goals.

this toling mass concept is more relevant in your andhra not in kerala where traditionally the labour is very high . See andhra pradesh or karnataka without Hyderabad and bangalore they are living in penury . So you say because you have never seen kerala or you are a person seeing only exploitation around you like in telengana rayalaseema where humanbeings are exploited to the core . Kerala is great compared to your andhra because the development has reached down thats why we dont have very big sharks like that is existing in your state .

Since that wealth and kingdom was dedicated to Lord Padmanabhaswamy, He is the sole owner!It was probably for this reason that Kerala was known as 'God's own country', though Marthanda Varma Raja dedicated only to the Lord only the kingdom ruled by him at that time.
USUALLY ALL THE TEMPLES IN INDIA WILL HAVE THIS KIND OF HIDDEN CAVES INIT AND WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE LOT TRESSURES IN EACH AND EVERY TEMPLE.IMAGINE HOW MUCH MOHULS AND BRITISHERS WERE LOOTED OUT COUNTRY. LUCKYLY THIS IS MISSED OUT!!!!
