if savarkar was indeed the proponant of 2-nation theory, then i salute him for his far sighted initiative. had india and pakistan been one, we all know what would have been the fate of all non-mslms on the subcontinent. Undoubtedly , BJP and its earlier predecessors went on logger heads with Muslim fundamentalists like JINNAH and created a sense of insecurity among them . This led to hardening of their attitude and bifurcation of India.Even to day , BJP is not realizing the dangers of taking sides on sensitive issues .
BJP is bent upon destroying Telugu pride, Telugu unity, Telugu identity and hurt the Telugu pshyche by supporting division of Andhra Pradesh which was created on linguistic lines for telugus as per the policy pronounced by Mahathma Gandhi way back in 1919.Even Indira gandhi opposed tooth nail division of AP because she is aware of repercussions.If Andhrapradesh is divided in to andhra and telangana, both regions will have a perpetual enmity like India and pakistan . she guessed that most probably, andhra region may opt for succession as the people feel that the central leaders are bent upon dividing telugu race and destroying Telugu identity. At least now let BJP realise the danger of its stand on telangana failing which indian unity will be in peril. As national party , it has to take stand to protect the integrity of india.
Leave it telugus themselves to decide through mejority vote in the state whether they want division or not. Don't meddle on sensitive issue like this to destroy Telugu identity which will have dangerous repercussions.
congress also has no other option but to follow Mahatma Gandhi/Indira Gandhi line on this issue.

It clear that the BJP/its predecessors have made matters worse by taking extreme stand.Britishers want to devide india because that their policy is to continue as rulers here. Any sensible party would have understood and sensed this. There may be fundamentalists among Muslims too but what happened to senses of BJP and its predecessors.
To day we have india and pakistan who will perpetually fight for centuries to come .Once divided, that is the end of road for any reconciliation.
BJP is still pursuing the senseless and wisdom less path of destruction with their support for dividing and destroying Telugu identity and pride. At least now Let them realize.They are bound to get defeated in karnataka too where considerable population of telugus are there who can tilt the balance against that party . As a national party , it should take stand such that it will not have repercussions on Indian unity.One can understand as to why BJP could not make any head way in south.karnataka people /maharastra people are also realizing the danger of allowing BJP to thrive in their areas because , like bhasmaasura , its policy of dividing linguistic states will try to finish their very languages/states .
