He was a great meestro. He won accolades in International level. Lata ji is singing since 50 yrs. You can't find a singer like her in world. Rehman and Illaya raja worship Latas feet. They deserve Bharat Ratna. For your info Pune is n't in North India. Its in Wesern part of India.

You bloody shut your mouth.u are mentaly sick. these hibreed jamat dont know western music & indian too.Why bhimsen should prove on international level?Who cares international level.First you should develop ability to understand indian classical music.Bloody you dont have ability to listen it.Bhimsen Lata, Mannade, Kishor they are above international level. And we have influemced by them & they are god for us.You hibreed 1 % population only dance on MJ & rock music.

I feel very sorry for you, Just to say, you might have known one proverb its well known in Hindi & Kannada,
As a name Bhimsen, he was elderly in Hindustani Sangeet. All his desciples are carrying his motto of Sangeeth, today's generation is listening to his shishya's and getting enthralled, What about Guru Sangeeth ? The world used to salute him, he was also good car driver in race. Personally, it is v heart touching moment. May God strenghten his disciples in same line and spirit and LONG LIVE THE JOSHI.
Indian Govt. should declare today as Nation's Mourning Day.

Cut the crap man! You sound like a bloody know it all! Do u even know wat the achievements of this maestro were?! Do u even know that he is one of the rare vocalists to have invented a whole new dimension to classical music by adopting his own style. I would like to know if you even listen to Indian music let alone classical music. Oh, and he is also well known and admired internationally as well. You do not need to get a grammy to prove that you are somebody. Besides i do not think and do not know of any of his albums which were released on the international platform. I would like to have your comments to my response.

Pandit Joshi was real Ratna in crown of Bharatmata and true Bharat Ratna. It is pity that we find very less upcoming good classic singers and void created by his departure will be very difficult to fill in.
Very Sad loss indeed...Excellent singer.. May his soul RIP...But till yesterday the media said his condition was stable. This shows how media spreads false information.
