Suppress your women quoting whatsever relligious rules , day will come it will act like a spring & U people will not be able to controll.
This practise exists only in our country. In all muslim majority countries like Turkey, Egypt and neghbouring Pakistan, one has to approach court to divroce even first time.
Problem in our country is there is no central system as is in other Islamic countries.
Infact if one reads Quran meticulously, this practise or triple talaqs is completely illeageal. There are so many conditions attached to divorce itself instead of uttering the talaq word.
Holy Quran has stressed on "Iddat" ie a time of 3 months between each utterance of talaq. There *HAS* to be atleast two iddats before the irrevocable divorce takes place.
But who has to teach these half-baked self declared guardians of faith about the exact way of talaq. These fellows harldy read holy Quran to learn and follow.
Holy Quran is the word of law & guidence for all mankind on earth to earn GOD's pleasure and ultimatly heavens. So each one of us, be it Hindi, Muslim, sikh etc has to read & understand with all our faculties of hearin & understanding

These muslim women were caged inside by these mulla men, as if they r some birds or animals...These muslim women were USED by these mulla men like soaps & detergent...Keeps changing every year IF NOT MONTHS...Hence they must be liberated...
What have the pseudo-secularists to say about this issue? Now Mozlem women should threaten Congress that they will vote for BJP unless laws are put in place to protect them. Congress will have to choose between Mozlem men and mozlem women.
I think these women are unware to their surroundings and do not know that whatever they demand, is already done. All India Muslim Personal Law Board has prepared and published a codified Muslim Personal Law long ago. If these women are Islam and Shariat loving then the should follow the rules and regulations those are clear and undisputed. They should bow their heads toward Allah, His Messanger and His commandments. Now a days their is a fashion to distort Muslim society and their religious lifestyle pretending so called reformer and revolt and abusing toward religious icons.

BTW, are you NOT an Indian? If you are, why don't you follow Indian laws? Has Allah ever written in any book that you should become lawbreakers in order to be religious?
those who r talking about reforms in islam should know that nothing wrong in this religion, only thing is people try to use it as per their wish. If a muslim act exactly as per the sharia no problem arise to anybody marriage more than one is a hot topic among non muslims, they shoul know that it is not mandatory in islam if someone want more than 1 it is up to them subject to the justice among them in every religion good and bad exists if someone is using it for bad intention they are answerable in hindu religion more than one marriage is prohibited, may i remind to all of you how many hindus are having more than one wife officially and un officially for example Dharmendra, a film actor and interestingly he won the seat of parliament even though this is prohibited according to indian law. Therefore, It is evident that all people stick to their religion. 1 muslim women use hijab as it is a part of her religion and other muslim women close her face to protect herself from the people who knows her and will catch or see her doing sin.......

The talk here is about triple Talaq. When this is sent through a telegram, a mobile phone, e-mail, the woman stands divorced. She is thrown on to the road. I know Deepika Malpani your heart melts for moslems. That's OK. In that respect I also share your feelings. But the question is about triple `T'. Do you have any specific plans for protecting victims of this triple `T' ? For example a old woman like Shah Bano at the ripe old age of 70 years was thrown on to the streets as a result of this triple T. Even Rajiv Gandhi, a secular moslem himself, supported this by bringing in a constitutional amendment called protection of ...whatever. A 70 year old woman suddenly when she finds herself thrown out of her house what shoud she do for survival, for feeding that paapi paet ? Beg? How would you feel if you find yourself in the position of a Shah Bano god forbid? Obscurantism wherever you find it, it needs to be corrected. But I doubt whether this would ever sink into your thick skull.

Muslim personal law is reformed now and now triple talak is allowed even in bangladesh triple talak is banned.Oonly uneducated people uses these term fom M bashing.

Hi, As said by Deepika,it is very true tht ppl make miss use. I wud like to add that, Muslim men/women land into such problems as dey don't understand Islam&Shariyat. Islam&Shariyat care&protects women like we protect gold/diamonds/platinum/etc.. Putting down few points- 1. Muslim women has right to ask for Maher- an security for women from the man she is marrying. 2. Wen word T has been said 3 time, Yes its talaq. However talaq gets applied only wen the 2 involved live under same roof for 40 days without getting close/bedded. 3. Der is no rule which says throw the women on road after 2 T's. If 1 does She can appeal to the Am'mir- law maker (for us in India we can say our Judicial System). She can get more than 50% of her husbands holdings. 4. Hijab is respect for women. It acts as 1st level of protection for women from lust predators. 5. Muslim women is free to choose her man for marriage. Father can recommend. 6. Mens have dress code (Hijab) in Islam 7. In Glorious Q'uran, most of the places follower/believer word is used & very less men or women is used. From this 1 can make out Islam does not make difference in men or women.
