open letter to NRIs ! beware this clever, scheIming, c0ng govt !
by ksdfjkkkkk on Feb 06, 2011 12:32 AM  | Hide replies

they only want your money! one way or another!
by taxing your hard earned money,
by giving you fraudulent properties,
by entering you into fraudulent business, etc.

they donot, repeat, DONOT want your vote.

SO c0ng MADE IT TOUGH FOR YOU TO VOTE.

PRAY, HOW??
1. FIRST, you pay Rs. 1,00,000, to buy a 2-way ticket to india.

2. SECOND, register yourself, in india, in front of the local govt officer. fillup massive, scam-ridden papers, and submit many documents.

3. THIRD, wait at the indian address, for a postal service delivered VOTER IDENTIFICATION CARD.

4. FOURTH, verify your new CARD, so that, the c0ngi-govt DIDNOT, repeat DIDNOT, change any of:
- your photo, "by mistake",
- your address, "by mistake",
- your first name, "by mistake",
- your last name, "by mistake",
- your sex, "by mistake",
- your age, "by mistake",
- your DOB, "by mistake", etc.

if any of the above is "by mistake",
done by c0ng-govt,
on your vote-card, then you SCREWED BY C0NG!!!

LIKE MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED MILLION INDIANS ALREADY SCREWED LIKE THIS BY C0NG!!

WELCOME TO C0NG-INDIA!

Dear ksdfjkkkkk ji , you are right. Million personnel belonging to Armed forces, Paramilitary forces, Police force and government officials transferred to distant places don`t even get postal ballots while NRI s are pampered to vote .

Next step is to provide NRIs chance to contest elections!!!
by Shari on Feb 05, 2011 09:04 PM  | Hide replies

Digital world connects...the world is fast becoming a small place where democratic struggles are quickly gaining ground, cascading effect of Tunisia onto Eygpt & Yemen is one such example...

With India aspiring to become World power on global stage, it would be a good idea to lead by example, by opening it's electoral and subsequently parliamentart system to global contestation.

by Aditya Venkat on Feb 05, 2011 04:55 PM

what use is the right to vote, when at the end of the day, they have the same set of donkeys in our system to for...will it be the anti national parties like the congress, and its allies, or the chinese stooges like the marxist parties, or the confused taliban like rightist parties who believe in bashing up woman that go to bars etc...

India as a nation should not be seen through the
prism of corruption that is currently going on.
Then it is only limitation in experiences that
one faces.
There is wider angle only for the good viewer.

Every NRI (not OCI, PIO etc stuff) make a visit to India once or twice in a year. They can time it with election.

NRI are in abroad only to earn there and
they have got job opportunity abroad only.
They are not receiving Indian Govt services
nor schemes currently. Ofcourse they contribute
only in currency remittance on Indian side.
What for they to vote for, since democracy is for, by, to people , NRI's are no way at the receiving nor policy deciding end side.
Hence vote rights for NRI is not justified.
I think that MMS and SG are worried that their charisma got a beating on Indian land.
So they want support from NRIs at least.

stop picking on NRIs pavan..when u dont know their contribution to the country. people like u are only meant to get married, breed and have kids and promote poverty and population growth .. everytime the indian economy was on the verge of collapse, it was funding from the NRIs that helped us bolster our BOP situation, not the tax that we get from the indians residing in india. But for them, our economy wud have gone the pakistan and afghanistan way..so be grateful..they also have a right to the indian culture as long as they project it positively abroad.

u r right Mr.venkat.the first thing is everyone in this world have right to earn his or her livelihood in whatso ever country he or she desires.n above all this is shame for politicians tht the people of their country are finding good career abroad, rather than india.

I bet you all of writer who wrote bad about NRI's that they run away to US, will take first flight to US or UK or OZ(evenif they get banged there)if they got opprtunity. So, don't show your frustration on NRI if you can't make it. No NRI is doing harm to country, they always remain Indian by heart.

When will animals get right to vote?
by Vivek Dev on Feb 04, 2011 12:33 PM  | Hide replies

When will animals, birds, bees, rodents, etc get right to vote? These creatures big and small work harder for India than NRIs. They should get right to vote first as they did not run away to US, UK etc and have been true to India. The government of India has given animals so many rights why right to vote is not given?

dear vivek, if the NRIs did not 'run away' as u put it, you wud not have got a job here in india, that is already teeming with so many useless educated people, with not sense or purpose to the society. let us appreciate the fact that indians go abroad, work hard and live a good quality of life that they cud never get in india, study and contribute to science and development abroad, as they cud never have done the same here owing to the crooks governing us and who will never allow these people to do anything positive for the nation..

@Venkat You consider NRIs as saints and angels. That is the wrong kind of assumption to have. NRIs are also Indians and they can use the rights to push their own agenda and their own interests that may be entirely different from that of resident Indians. The right to vote also gives them right of representation which means it will also be possible for NRIs to become MLAs, MLCs and push their own agenda. Grow up consider the negative side too.
