Bhagwad Gita has the highest spiritual knowledge ever revealed to mankind. Does it promote casteism ? Bhagwad Gita doesn't talk about caste system at all. Bhagwad Gita talk about Varna system. There are only four Varnas but hundreds of castes. Again, Lord Krishna says in Bhagwad Gita that the Varna of a person is decided by his Guna (his knowledge, experience etc.) and Karma (actions). Please note that there is no mention that it is based on birth. However, caste system is based on birth.

Those who have no knowledge of history of Hindu social structure are spewing venom against Bhagwad Gita. Please read and understand which will reveal to you the truth of spirituality which is unparalleled when compared to any of Abrahimic religions.

I THINK U NEED SOME KIND OF SELF READING. HERE IS EXCERPTS WITH REF N AUTHORITY. NOW DONT SAY ANIMAL SACRIFICE(HINSA)IS NOT ENCOURAGED IN BG.
Bhaktivedanta VedaBase: Bhagavad-gītā As It Is 2.31
"In the battlefield, a king or kṣatriya, while fighting another king envious of him, is eligible for achieving heavenly planets after death, as the brāhmaṇas also attain the heavenly planets by sacrificing animals in the sacrificial fire." Therefore, killing on the battlefield on religious principles and killing animals in the sacrificial fire are not at all considered to be acts of violence, because everyone is benefited by the religious principles involved. The animal sacrificed gets a human life immediately without undergoing the gradual evolutionary process from one form to another, and the kṣatriyas killed on the battlefield also attain the heavenly planets as do the brāhmaṇas who attain them by offering sacrifice.

I THOUGHT KNOW VERY LITTLE BUT AFTER GOING THRU COMMENTS HERE I AM SURE I M MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE ON H1NDU SCRIPTURES THAN LOT

My dear PGN,

Bhagwad Gita 2.31 says this :

"Besides, considering your own duty too, you should not waver, for there is nothing more welcome for a Kshatriya (i.e. man of the warrior class) than a righteous war."

What is wrong with it ? What is the duty of a warrior in a battlefield ?

Considering also your duty as a warrior, you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war. (2.31).............what ever Bhaktivedanta have written are from his fertile imagination. There is no reference to anyRELIGION isGita as there were noReligions at that time!

Dear PGN,
Where do Shudras or Mlechchas figure in Bhagvad Geeta? Have you read it? There are versions available in almost all languages of the world, try and read the real book first instead of listening to people when your low IQ does not permit you to listen and understand at the same time... Though I doubt your reading abilities too and wonder what language you know or use. Coz ur diction seems to be English but language is that of hatred coupled with ignorance marinated in a know-it-all arrogance.
Good that you remained anonymous on this page coz it would have reflected badly on the entire gene-pool you are a representative of.
If it was a publicity stunt, frankly, spewing out venom without having an iota of idea about the real thing not only reflects poor taste but also an addled mind with a vengeful disposition. You need help... get away from the screen and visit a medic

@ PGN: Is this the gist of your understanding on BG? Or it is somebody else opinion?
Because it’s of no use to argue based on somebody else opinion until you have your own. Have you ever gone thru GITA? If not, first study it, try to understand it (If you can), then you will be able to comment on it.

BTW, Where from you got this meaningless translation. BG never discriminated anybody based upon their birth or Cast. Show me in BG, where Lord Krishna talked about cast and untouchability?

BG is nothing to do with CAST my dear. It is the Devotional Path or Bhakti Marga, that everybody can follow and reach the final destination called ‘Mokshya’. How that ‘Mokshya’ will be attained will depend upon your ‘KARMA’ or Conduct. If your conduct is good , then irrespective of your cast or religion, you will get your final destination. That is what Lord KRISHNA told. Do not argue with your half knowledge.

I do not know which religion you belongs to, but do not try to spray venom by saying this kind of Half truths and lies on Sacred Books.

I think you got your answer for your question, But Do You know the meaning of 'MLECHCHAS', YOU referred in your question?

n the storm of life we struggle through myriads of stimuli of
pressure, stress, and multi problems that seek for a solution and
answer. We are so suppressed by the routine of this every life style
that most of us seem helpless. However, if we look closely to ancient
techniques we shall discover the magnificent way to understand and
realize the ones around us and mostly ourselves. If only we could stop
for a moment and allow this to happen. May all beings be happy (Loka
Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu) is the essence of Indian philosophy?

IF MY RELIGION IS MOOT POINT FOR U ,THEN THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH UR CONVICTION POWER.As a mlechchha, any foreigner stood completely outside the caste system and the ritual ambience. Thus, historically, contact with them was viewed by the caste Hindu as polluting.THUS MLECHCHA WAS ANOTHER DEROGATORRY SYSTEM APART FROM CASTE SYSTEM ITSELF.LITERAL MEANING-HAVING MALAFIDE INTENTION
