Rightly said. We did lose an opportunity to liberate pak occupied Kashmir.It would have been easier at that time with a totally demoralised Pak Army,unstable Government in Pakisthan and world opinion in our favor.

Congress,Nehru,Indira all made blunders and India continues to pay for it till date. Nehru went to UN over Kashmir,Indira signed Shimla Peace Accord,She also freed 93,000 soldiers .We failed to liberate Kashmir from Pakistanis.Whoooooosh what a series of blunders !!!!
boss you still thinks we elect our priminister i dont think so always the rulling family is completely influenced by west like rajive gandhi was conspire by M16 and CIA and suspecialy helped to have an italian girfrend and similar is rahul gandhi a spanish girlfriend if not married then we will see she remains in india or someanother foregin or perfect NRI will marry him all this is enough to tell us the truth the decession taken out of our countries interest is not by pak or china its the western interest who was , is or will never want asian to dominate the white country the early we learn and come on common platform the better for us
Biggest blunder is Shimla Accord. If Indira Gandhi was firm to take back POK and actual LOC as per the partition, the India Pakistan problem would have solved for ever. Today we are in a situation, we will never get back the POK as both countries are Nuclear rich and we have no other choice than to accept the fact that we have lost POK for ever. Firm decision in Shimla accord would have solved several problems that have erupted subsequent thereto and number of lives could have saved from both sides.
well i totaly agree with the author, that our politicos are inferior to that of pakistan in diplomacy, they have time and again got away with murder, whilst our guys hv been playing to the minorities to consolidate vote banks, it is a real tragedy, that what we gained and could have gained with our offensive , by extending it for 2 to 3 days we culd hv solved all our problems, but no, the blundering nehru clan had to do it again, no where in the world do nations give up what is rightfully theirs. with the territory and prisoners , there was a chance to change history, but, we lost that. thank you Mrs gandhi and team, why crib now when shit is hitting on our faces. our politicos must give up this looking good attitude and do good for the nation. mera bharat kahan?
Biggest blunder was Shimala accord. After winning war India should have captured whole of Pak occupied Kashmir and should have kept topmost Paki military leader as hostage to tell pakistan that if you try to raise POK and IOK the attack will again take place wiping entire Pakistan.
The article has two main flaws.The first one pertains to UN intervention in Kashmir,where actually UN did not intervene in Kashmir,on the contrary our Pt Nehru's Govt went to them asking for their intervention,though Kashmir became a part of Indian Territory after Maha raja Hari Singh signed instrument of access ion.The second one pertains to the sinking of Paki Sub Ghazi,as it got ripped off on its own and sunk and not by the torpedo of Indian Navy As for the Shimla Accord,agian we goofed. We should have signed an agreement with the Paki Military and not with Paki Civilian Puppet Reg ime under ZABhutto,for a permanent solution to Kashmir Problem.
