Three Blunders
by kumar kn on Dec 13, 2011 11:25 AM  | Hide replies

Dr Anil Athale has written a good and informative article on some of the mistakes India could have avoided in commiting.A few mistakes will take place in any war and we can always debate in hindsight that somethings could have been done better.

One thing is clear that a majority of Indians agree that what was won by our defence forces was bartered away at a cheap rate by our civilian leaders. The govt was in a hurry to send the 93000 Pak prisoners home rather than driving a hard bargain.Pakistan got away very lightly due to India's shortsightedness.

We could have learnt from the Israele experience of 1967 war.Even today Israel has not returned all the land it occupied.Pakistan from its defeat realised that it could never defeat India's conventional forces and Butto took the decision to go nuclear. We failed to expose Pak's nuclear program to the world also.
Even with a strong leader like Indira Gandhi,India lost out on many counts.I shudder to think what will happen to us under a leader like Sardar Manmohan Singh.

A very informative article from the Col.it needs to be praised indeed.however political & diplomatic developmens and compulsions have not been touched and analysed sufficiantly, matter for which must be stored at the PMO.Indira Gandhi was no Budhist!

Corrupt….!!!! So what…??
by Istambul Pedru on Dec 13, 2011 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

Congress Party may be corrupt but see their achievements,

1)      They never forced the muzlims to sing Vande Mataram which is against Izlam.
2)      They accepted that Kashmir is not an integral part of India.
3)      They ordered the military to use rubber bullet against Kashmiri Freedom Fighters
4)      They dismissed the capital punishment of death penalty to our freedom fighter Mr. Afzal Guru.
5)      They increased Huj subsidy.
6)      They offered 27% minority quota to muzlims.
7)      They have the heart to listen the poor voice of innocent Mr.Azmal Kasab.
8)      They surfaced Hindoo terror and their involvement in 26/11 terror attack.
9)      They granted the university status for madrasa education.
10)      They release 10 thousand crores for the uplifting of poor minorities.

If congress continuous to be in powers for another 5 years then we definitely achieve the goal of Islamizing India by 2020.

Today is the anniversary of the Parliament attack and our dear President is still to give the sanction to hang Afzal Guru. She has time to fly an attack aircraft and ride in an army tank, but no time to give the sanction.Even the Congress govt's home ministery has recommended to the President to reject Afzal's mercy petition.

communal colour of cong will come out when you people refuse to vote for them, they will show how worst they are by nature. let your mullahs pass a fatwa not to vote for congress, they will simply butcher your community. grow up, understand the real agenda behind this false love towards community. at last we as human beings and invidualas have to live our life no party would come to our rescue.

India again yet to be liberated from corrupt political leaders across all parties and RSS networked high castes domination and discriminiation over SCs/STs/OBCs/Muslims etc.

India will be developed only if these suppressing elements are rooted out from the systems.

Blunders
by arungopal agarwal on Dec 13, 2011 10:49 AM  | Hide replies

All decisions are situational, now these blunders have no meaning. Since our politicians/bureacrats are not interested to bring any political and administrative reforms, they all talk all this rubbish.
Time has come, when anyone talking about dis-integration, he must be forced to quit the country.

In any War...
by Frodo Baggins on Dec 13, 2011 10:31 AM  | Hide replies

In any war , in retrospect there may have been a better way of doing things, on the whole the 1971 war acheived very good results and was fought well despite a lot of international pressure, armchair critics like this retired colonel would be well advised to sit and play with his grandchildren rather than critcize people who were far more capable and competent.

Lost opportunities in the 1971 War
by Vijay Shivdasani on Dec 13, 2011 10:28 AM  | Hide replies

Time and again the military gains are lost by hamhanded politicos or bureaucrats. Whether in Kashmir, Ladakh (Kargil)or the 1971 war such opportunities are lost. Earlier this year our Army Chief had to remind CM Omar Abdullah of this! We need hawks!
Otherwise who will soldier for India?

DIVIDE and RULE was ,is and will be the biggest weapon of centuries and any war its always who is the first public like indian ,paki and other asian dont realise is in power when u r small and they r big ,u r hidden they r exposed , they r weak u r penetrating like needle ,they always underestimate u , u just need dare and devotion with intelegence and planning unity is not for winning requirement we can remain divided on our internal issue but can create one common platform for china-pakistan-india the afgan base is created for distroying iran by cutting backsupport from china, pak and we should not forgot on ground ,economy, unacceptance to west leadership in any field INDIAN cannnot accept them on same side as one side can have one dominating country not two if india grows like china US,WEST looses their ground so never ever consider to be on same side

we indian never respected the right person ,right system we always drove away by crowd to say what people want to listen we r emotional in which we can say anyone wrong or write who has public with him ,yesterday it was poor mahatma gandhi today it's anna if you can consider anna wrong then u can say mahtma was wrong otherwise just imagine u were inthose situation b cause as indian when u say your nations father was wrong something is wrong with u no US citizen can critisize washington and thier leaders b cause write or wrong is internal on front u say he is the one who did at that time the best for our country may be we cannot use that way with outsiders in todays situation but yes inside our own country what anna is doing today is the best public interest who believe corruption will eat this country
