Corruption and Scientists/Scientific Thinking
by bharat sant on Apr 23, 2011 01:03 PM  | Hide replies

The birth of Anna Hazara's movement is both fascinating and inspiring. I was at once attracted by the write-up on Scientific thinking in India is corrupt, may be because I am a scientist (now retired). I wholly agree with the statem, ent scientific thinking in India is corrupt. I suffered in my career not just because I wanted to be honest but because I used to point out dishonesty and lack of integrity going on in day-to-day activities. When Heads of scientific institutions are 'corrupt', their bosses (scientific or non-scientific) are corrupt, what do you expect from scientist and non-scientific personnel working in such institutions.

Coming back to the Anna Hazare saga, I fully endorse it, I want to be a part of it, I want to be fighting-soldier. But at my age (79) I have limitations. I admire Mr. Kejriwal for his initiative, perseverence, and tenacity. He is a scientist-engineer from IIT. How fortunate are his parents and teachers of his school, college, and the IIT where he studied.d where he studied! If every IIT can produce one graduater Kejriwal every
year, this country will be blessed with prosperity and a corruption-free society.

I have one suggestion: In this women have to be deeply involved, especially wives and mothers. By their advice of honesty, integrity, and commitment, they can change the face of this country.

Dear prof. Sant,
It made me emotional after reading the line - :I want to be fighting-soldier. But at my age (79) I have limitations.:
Sir,
Your thoughts are very very inspiring, at your age if you want to be a soldier - it makes us aware of our responsibility as young, responsible INDIANS

It inspires us the young indians to take this forward.... till the end....

May god give you great health and happiness....

Telgi, Hasan Ali and Dawood will give money to propogate that Anna Hazare's team has full of Hindus, that he praised Modi, that the female figure of bharath mata on the stage is to make muslims hurt!
Soniya, Oscar, Ex-CVC thomas (or Rmesh chennithala, mohan bhandary etc in their respective states) will fund propagenda that the committee drafting lokpal bil has no christan representatives..and so it is non-secular...
And there will be bangaru lakshmana (Ex-BJP chief caught for accepting donation in cash) and kalyaan Sing blaming that all the members of the panel are uppercast....
Kalmadi will blame that the commitee has all north indian members, Jayalalitha will blame that the commitee doesnt have a south Indian brahmin..

All Hindus& Indians MUST SEE Greatest Film Ever to Kn
by Xin Xin on Apr 23, 2011 12:07 PM

How many hindus and patriotic indians have seen the greatest film ever,Aaashani sanket or Distant Thunder, made by great Satyajit Ray relating to the Bengal Famine?!During the second world war, the british looters and colonizers packed and sent millions of tonnes of food stuffs to England starving millions of hindus to death and the great film(ashaani sanket or distant thunder) by Satyajit foucsses on this himalayan tragedy or holocaust! What is more the great non-violent saint or great freedom fighter mahatma ganhdee kept quiet all along when millions of hindus were being starved to death and it was this very same mahatma ganchee who asked all hindus and indians to support england in world war and this resulted in sacrifice of thousands and thousands of hindus, sikhs and buddhists in war too. After seeing the great film and after seeing india's pitiable state now as a slavish nation begging for help from western and british looters preventing indian slaves even to visit that country and preventing them even entering UK and Europe and USA,etc all Hindus will be forced now to weep now and for decades together too, is it not???What a shame, Majority Hindus and Patriotic Indians that you consider the fake freedom fighters and double agents as mahatma and nehru asgreat freedom fighters and father of nation, etc,What a Shame,85 crore morrronic, ennuch and brain-washed Hindus!
