Tata'a are the rightful owners as they have lease for 99 years. They have recently paid the annual revenue to W.B. Govt. So whosoever thinks that 400 acres of land can be returned just by shouting are wasting their time

The Chief Minister has uttered so many times that there was something wrong in Singur in land accuring . Why he is not taking appropreate steps on doing something on 600 acres of land ? This old man is good for nothing. Neither he has done anything good for the 600 acres of land that is lying idle nor he has done something who is not willing to give land . He is not at all a candidate for chief-minister.
He should be thrown to the Bay-of-Bengal (politically).

If it was that easy the Nano Factory would have been up and the people of Singur prospering. Pls look at the site plan and see where the farmers who have not given their land. Its only seeing the blue print of the land that you will understand. Do not make useless comments.

Mr. Robertson, Laloo made profit by giving lot of inconvenience to the general public, for example, the side upper and lower berths have divided into three berths. In such a fasion earning profit is foolish.
Now since Tatas have ran away with their bags and bagges from Singur, the unwilling farmers, who were forced to part with the land by Goondas of Ruling Party, should be given back the 400 acres of land.
Moreover since Buddadev has already accepted that the land acquisition in Singur, through threat and intimidation, without the consent of the owners of the fertile land was a Great Blunder, there is no alternative with the Government but to give the land back to its original owners.

They employ peole in Lakhs..?/wow..how many local peole work for the factory in sanad..?? actually tatas are now commited to the vendors(from whom they have alreday taken money)..and have entered a vblind lane.they cannot stop renewing the lease every year.

The land acquisition itself is part of their game. They did not want to construct a factory but want enter into real estate business after acquiring the fertile land from the poor pesants.

Dear Mohanan, Get your facts right. Companies like Caparo, Sona Steering, etc, who O.E.Ms to Tata Motors had set up their units inside the area marked for ancilliary units. Plus Tatas were in the process of setting up school and a hospital at Singurs, for which they had already employed professionals.
It is a pity people like you survive like a frog in well.

Pondekathi - Maruti has its factory at Gurgaon which is situated in 250 acres only. Maruti you know the countries most prestigious four wheeler company with so many models. Then like a Nano shaped four wheelers with thousands defects, why tata's requires 1000 acres? Maruti too have ancilliaries inside that area. It was a plan of Tata's and the Govt to promote real estate business there and that's why the entire deal was never came in public. At Gujrat they have got land at Market price not like throwaway price what Buddha have gifted him.

Tata was in hurry to capture the market because other competetors like Hundai and Toyota are coming soon in small car segement which are more worth than Nano in techniques and look. They would have selected Orissa or Jharkhand if they would have any problem at Gujrat also.

Mohan the tatas were made to face a lot of difficulties as regards the construction of thier factory. They tried thier very best to stay in West Bengal but idiotic politicians and foolish locals were adamant on getting the land relased and hence 1,50,000 jobs went to hard working gujratis. The Price of land has tripled over the last 2 years around the factory.

150000 jobs..?/wow...get some knowldge about the latest technology of the car factories .Per 100 Crores of investment employement generated in today's worl is 1.So for 1500 crore investment,hardly 150 employement would have ben generated.

Mr. Gaurav Gupta, The difficulties they have undergone can be compensated after sale of the land on high value. What benefit the dependents of the farmers will get? When the land itself is lost the poor farmer cannot get the triple price. As far as hard work is concerned, Bengalis, Biharis, South Indian (in short all Indians) are also hard working lot and not only Gujaratis.

Expectations are high where Mamta is concerned but at the end the poor people of WB will suffer as there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
