If politicians can do lot better with their experience in making up of the country then what about other sectors. This is applicable to every sector including military and Air force. But in reality it is different. Every other sectors have retirement because young generation should get an opportunity where as these dumb politicians refuse to give away their position for betterment of the country and always want to see India with same lens for about 50 yrs now. This entire system should be revamped to stop corruption and dont let any politicians to stay in politics for more than 1 tenure of 5 yrs. Does anybody in this country knows the purpose of BA politicial science in colleges ???

EvenInTheIslamicCountries old despots hang to their chairs even after ruling for 40 years or more!!! In India we have at least an option to vote them out evey five years.

The CPM itself did not field VS Achuthanandan. It is the youth of Kerala who protested on the streets thereby CPM had to field VS. His age is not a factor here, his zeal to fight corruption. That is what makes him a better youth icon than Amul whatever.

ACHU dislikes corruption to such an extend that he even goes against his own part workers if he finds corruption and due to that he suffers a lot and is removed from the politburo membership although he is a people's chief minister
