@giveanid, in the middle ages only a handful of Scientists believed that the Earth is NOT the centre of the Universe and that is is Earth that goes around theSun. Now even a thirdStd student knows that. So it is not the number of persons believing inSomething that makes a difference.

They have the courage to correct themselves if they are not correct; theWestAsianLiteratures aka HoleyBooks lack that concept.

You are jumping back and forth! The point I said is, scientists are not always right. So their belief need not be the ultimate word on spirituality. How can a physics scientist comment on chemistry?

Now you change track. Are we talking about scientists who believed in God? Or those believed in fiction?

according to a survey, close to 60-70% of the scientists are atheists/agnostics/diests and not affiliated to any religious god!!!!

Atheism is different from the other two, if you didn't know. 60% of scientists you talk about didn't believe in personal God. And 34% did believe in personal God.
>>>>>have you read the description of Hindu heavens where Urvasi and co waiting to entertain you?>>>>>>they are NOT waiting for me. As if he is the ultimate truth! Where did you get the idea that all famous personalities are atheists? If I start to write the names of famous believers, this space won't be enough!
Re: Re: @JGN - Pl shower your pity on Dr.RichardDawkins also!!!
by The Patriot on Apr 12, 2011 03:59 PM
just write some famous mul1lah scientists of 20th and 21st century, thats enough!!!!!
Re: @JGN - Pl shower your pity on Dr.RichardDawkins also!!!
by giveanid on Apr 12, 2011 04:00 PM
Also, Einstein was not atheist per se. He was a believer of the hidden power. A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, of the manifestations of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty - it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute the truly religious attitude; in this sense, and in this alone, I am a deeply religious man
