Export of N-plants
by Govind Lal on Sep 28, 2010 09:43 PM

Now that it is realised that nuclear plants are not economical and worth the capital invested India is trying to export Nplants to third world countries. UPA's intention is to mire the loss and uncertainties in commissioning plants in India from the people of India. Look at the increase in price of Uranium $8/- in 2007 it rose to some $50/- now. It will take hyperbolic increase when the plants envisaged are commissioned. There is no sufficient Uranium available in the world to mine out to run the plants for its life. India is trying to poke the nose into the turmoil of Uranium trading.
Google and read ‘India Has Now A Nuclear Burden To Carry by N.S.Venkataraman’.Dont be crazy after N-projects. Corruption
by Govind Lal on Sep 28, 2010 07:30 PM  | Hide replies

1The Common Wealth Games is inflicting irreparable damages to India and its professionals. Who is to be blamed? What is the fun in identifying the culprit? India need to ‘over-haul’ its mechanism of governance. The main fault is with the politicians. We do not have any leaders who can inspire the people. Our leaders work to get praise from abroad, not from Indians here. They are eager to listen to the ‘sacred words’ from abroad. They think that the foreign powers will come and save our nation. No leader from a foreign nation who is patriotic to his nation will venture to contribute to the development of another country. He can only think of his ‘country first’. Our leaders need to change their attitude.
In the inferno of confusions in society (maoists, terrorists, religious fundamentalists, J&K, CWG are a few) the UPA allowed to bring in more FDI, unnoticed by the people ($10 Billion). This points to the natural suspicion that the confusions are created by vested interests. Soon the N-deal will be operationalised. That will be a death knell to our financial system.

2India, after independence gained tremendous progress in project management. Check the huge projects undertaken by our professionals. Remember this is land of Viswessarayya, Bhaba, etc. The present generation get inspired, in thousands, from these GEMS. But, at the moment, they do not get patronage from the political power. Politicians of the day think that shouting in front of huge audience is a way to inspire the citizens. Remember their ‘shouts’ do have the latent foul smell of corruption. Such smell will retract the people from right thinking. The shouts from a clean mind will inspire the people. How many leaders have this quality? Every leader has a personal interest. Let them work without any personal interest. Work with attachment to the country. Work for the progress of nation. Do not work with attachment to alien world. Do not work for the progress of other countries. Do not work for the flow of FDI. Avoid proliferation of SEZ. Rewrite NELP. Do not bring in the philosophy of live on loans. Do not move an inch to operationalize the N-deal. Google and read ‘India Has Now A Nuclear Burden To Carry by N.S.Venkataraman’.

3In the beginning there was no corruption. SATHYA YUGA. Then man get attached to sense enjoyments which generated tendency of corruption. Sense enjoyments cannot be negated by indulging in it. Every enjoyment is a path to another with a state of greater enjoyments. End result will be peril and destruction. This is the lesson these bureaucrat/politician/mafia should realize. Corruption in every field is on the increase including within the govt.

4The banana republics of 60s did not have corruption in the beginning. Most of them were financially strong. After they got independence the leaders became corrupt. Once the leader is corrupt ordinary men follow suit. Natural. The politicians/dictators exhibited their avarice to amass wealth. They loot the people & the state and took the loot to foreign banks. The financial strength of these foreign states where the banks are located showed a sudden growth of the economy. That is due to the huge deposit (looted wealth) received from the banana republics. History says that those leaders/dictators were tried for treason and some them were to face firing squad. The neo-economists depicts the huge remittances (looted wealth) as the success of their economic policies. Is it not ridiculous to assign the term ‘success of policy’ for this phenomena? Emperor Haile Selassi had a deposit equivalent to 5 Billions sterling pounds in foreign countries. The govt under the dictator Mengistu Haile Mariam tried to bring back the deposit but failed. Haile Selassie who claims the lineage of the Great King Solomon was the longest monarchy that existed. But he had his last breath in the jail. The country he ruled become a place of rivalry and bloody fights. Now it is divided into two. These two states are among the poorest nations. Look at the tragedy!! The life of a ruler with a huge deposit, unthinkable at that time, ended in Jail.

5An identical drama is going to be played now in India. The transfers to foreign countries in the coming years will be enormous. It started a few years back and is picking momentum. The Reserve Bank of India has to mobilize its machinery to regulate these remittances with hard rules. If necessary the Parliament should enact a LAW for this purpose. Politicians will not take any initiative. Alas!!. The patriotic MEDIA is to be the watch dog. But many of media is controlled by these unscrupulous and unpatriotic looters. The NGOs to be vigilant. Use all platforms to expose the wrongs.

6. FDI flows like a flooded river
Foreign corporates own retail businesses
Market flooded with foreign goods
People attracted towards foreign goods
No demand for local produces
Death of Indian industries
Media creates euphoria about foreign goods
Media controlled by foreign corporates
People's attention deviated
Sensual pleasures the lone aim
Look for loans
Governments encourage philosophy of live on loans
A dreaded path
Make money is the lone aim
Moral value disappears
People crying for more foreign goods
All on loans
Governments creates illusory turmoil
To escape from the responsibility.
Start flowing back the FDI
To the original point
Many times the original value
A foul play in economics
Doctorate holders may be watch dogs
But no avail
Rules are already in place
Put by men in the past
Complete chaos........
Masses work for the welfare of men abroad
The Land of Rishies become land of slaves
Oh Mother give birth to gems like Naoroji, Goghale, Vivekananda, Arobindo
Cheer up the mass with fiery speeches and writings
Oh, Mother India,
Save us

by Rameshwar dad on Sep 27, 2010 06:30 AM

Every Indian wishes that Games should be finished in well manner and it happens definately as time will not wait ofr any one. As the times comes the event will takes place wheater its upto the mark or below the mark. But in overall it clear that the post holder do use their rights only they don't have any resposibiity they do n't have any accountability of the money of Tax payer weather its Kalmadi ji, Shila ji or Manmohan ji. But ultimately you will have to give account to the public money of which was waisted by your decisions.

by jp singh on Sep 26, 2010 10:10 PM

No need to wory, God is great and watching all the actions, commissions and omissions of each one of us and the dacoits looting people's hardened earned money in the name and garb of Commonwealth games. Due share of harsh punishment is inevitable to them and let them fill their pocket with any amount of money. They have to go to the court of God. Just relax Indians; we are the majority of simple people and a very few percent are scandulous and mischievous like people involved in organising and conducting the games. Just relax and do not raise your BP.

I think all corrupted, hopeless and irresponsible persons like Kalmadi,Sheila Dixit,Jaipal Reddy,Gill were selected to execute CWG.If Manmohan singh would take the game seriously,he would assign same responsibilities to Minister like Pranab Mukherjee,P Chidambaram.I am sure they would definately execute CWG well.
Thanks and Regards,

Where is my money???
by sandip pattanayak on Sep 26, 2010 02:52 PM  | Hide replies

So this is common wealth for the privileged few in Delhi! We thought the Games were for the entire country! I am deeply aggrieved and angry. Where has my money gone, the money that I earn so painstakingly and pay my taxes religiously at the end of the year? Why should I pay taxes to Government of India, when the money is being siphoned off to fill private coffer. Why should I pay money to improve infrastructure in Delhi. Let Delhites pay for it. I wonder, if the entire effort to host the Games was an alibi to take out public money and channel it for individual benefit! Conspiracy theory! Think twice. I am dismayed at the audacity and brazenness with which the politicians and bureaucrats have treated the issue so far. Their words have proved the degree of disrespect that they have for the people. Who is the leader who will stand up and own responsibility and when? We do not want accountability. We want an impartial enquiry into the whole issue and we want the money back to the treasury. Organising Committee – You may deduct the actual amount spent on the mess that you created. The country is already in shame. We do not want to sing the patriotic chorus now. Please do not force these gimmicks on us. It is filthy and we know it.

" Why should I pay taxes to Government of India, when the money is being siphoned off to fill private coffer".

Oh, that balderdash! When you were getting subsidized petrol/diesel for your car, did you ask why the taxes of people who don't own a vehicle be used to subsidize your bills? Who pays the salary of the govt servants? The money to those army men dying in Kashmir? Or those fighting Maoists?

If there is one thing I can't stand, it is this "my taxes" cry of the novae middle class! Tries everything in book to save taxes and then pays grudgingly when everything else fails. Then believe that his 2000 has earned him some high powers!
I would understand if all these criticism came after the games. But now, taking potshots and asking about your 2000 is cheap, at the time of crisis!

ur feelings r appreciable...without any compuction or regret they hv spent this huge sum of money; just imagine how many hospitals cud hv been built up n by building these hospitals how many lives cud hv been saved....or we may say how many lives hv been lost by not building these because of this spending of money on one city of India in some other areas....just ponder dude.. amount spent so far revealed is of the order of some 40000/-crores..God save us let it not b the tip of any iceberg...as question comes up now from where 40000 did come ...is it from wreckless disinvestment of public sectors or is it the surreptious service tax being slapped on public or is it unmindful borrowings ....which are the other areas where frittering of money is taking place without our knowing about it....
