Please do not equate Kalmadi,Dixit ,Gill ,Jaipal Reddy and the loot group of OC with others .For each one of these filthy worthies ,there are Shridhars ,Narayanmurthys ,Tatas ,Birlas Ambanis and others who have earned respect of the world by their activities
The media brings negative that is good but let us see the positive side too. Leadership has fail on all accounts and in all a shameful job. We have to come up.
I've never seen such an arrogant article in my life. This journalist needs to be given the sack. And rediff needs to take a look at how they allow such rubbish to go to print. Are your Editors sleeping? There is no justifying the games fiasco. It is a fiasco, and it is a pathetic shame we can't organize something like this, having spent so much money to do so. To say this is India, where dogs roam around and sleep on guest beds, and is dirty is amazing. This author mistakenly thinks all his readers have idiot tattoo's on their foreheads to buy his terribly written rambling.

it is a deliberate insertion as if a reported corruption of this whopping scale was the intetion of NDA,common wealth games were held during Indira Gov as well in eighties; what nationalism was prevailing then, was it the same as 'cultural...'.these articles bare their wrong intentions to whip NDA n all other parties for the visible sins of congies like in this cwg...
The legacy of MMS is going to be, when he stepped in things did get clean up and a great game was staged which revived the relevance of Common Wealth itself as a relevant to the new order emerging in the world, where the discredited triple-axis with Pakistan being one of the axis, losing out even a pretense of ethical sheen.
Within India the storm-troopers associated with the infamous second scion of the premier dynasty, most of whom incidentally were spoilt brazen kids of well to do, who literally commandeered Indian polity for several years, and have considerable hold on the Central polity, specially that of Delhi region, are likely to lose their nexus-like grip. This augurs well for common law abiding Indians.

to eulogise mms or an mms legacy will b an ostrich like reaction of false sense of nation's pride n all that to justify the fiasco and is intended to divert attention from real issues, very similar to those of congies', now the whole of India knows with a sense of grief that in name of cwg a sum of Rs.40000 crores have been spent on the city of Delhi in less than 24 months of time..a brazen nexus of engineer-IAS n Allied-contractors-politicias exists, who hav 'een gulping dn substantial portion of this 40000...n the process still not complete...n in this exercise they have also gulped dn ,to the dismay of 'erudite spirit of CWG ...,the pride of nation without any compuction, but i feel more serious question which is perhaps escaping public mind is that "from where Rs 40000 crs hv come" Is it from disinvestment of one after the other public sector cos. some of them were navratna,or is it the service tax being slapped on public without their knowing about it,or is it the wreckless borrowing, point is whatever the source the after-effects of this 40000..will be much more damaging....

In economy, money is not a zero-sum game. If so how do you explain wealth increasing and money in circulation as considered of various types cash, cheques, bonds etc increasing?
We need social sector as well as private sector investments to make the economy move. The money put in CWG shall have countless spinoffs to make it worthwhile. Asiads in Delhi enabled advent of Color TV into India. CWG,so far has tattered Indian image, this frustrating, demeaning expose could have been very costly. But, believe that it would only discredit a certain type of polity and bring forth newer competencies in managing our public investments.
To recover the CWG is not very difficult, the goodwill is with India,(pls ignore what Mr Kumar says!) and you are likely to see our democracy redeeming itself.
Wish you have mode trust for Engineers-IAS-Corporates-Politicians, they are making a new India and shall be doing so better and better, faster and faster. Believe in as Prez Kalam used to exhort, in positive thinking on such matters to overcome our shorcomings.

the most corrupt and brazen govt. which misused all powers they had at the cost of India
