I wonder if there is any other religion except Hinduism, whose festivities left the environment crying. Is it not possible to adopt better means of celebration so that environment do not take a beating.

Actually your heading of the article is with sarcastic note showing that hindus do not want to care about ecology.
The fact is pollution made by industrialists by engaging the politicians and babus of pollutions control board is much higher than Ganpati idol and its immersion issue. All the rivers are polluted including ganges because of industrialists/non action of babus and politicians. There is theme in the media which is financed by Western countries and churches as well as so called psuedo secularists to hammer out hindus on all issues showing that they are wrong on all their traditions faith. Damaging faith of hindus by this or that reason is for popularity. Have they any guts to talk about other communities religions. Answer is no. So it is game against all hindus.
If kashmiri muslim fights for azadi then we have to understand them only. More than Dozens of attacks by terrorists over a decade then they are not related to any religion but allegations only against hindus immediately it becomes safforn terror.

Suicide bombers also cause pollution , 1993 blast and 26/11 was also carbon generating. Kargil was not clean energy.
