china is unreliable
by Ananda Raj on Sep 03, 2010 07:32 PM  | Hide replies

No one can trust China in any issue. Now China is threat to US in many ways as it holds US currency reserve in trillions. To avoid civil war, it wants to set foot at neighbors area. China already set foot at Srilanka to threat Tamilnadu, not India. POK is no-mans land.China enters POK easily.China is danger to India always.MMS is not going to fight at war field. Why he has to worry about China?

I agree, look at its recent act, that of denying Visa to an Indian army man. In addition, it needles India on Kashmir issue by posting its army personel in POK and thend denying it later. Always be on guard with China for no one can predict what it will do next.

I believe China but partly
by Rajan Sodankur on Sep 03, 2010 07:23 PM  | Hide replies

Does US alone enjoy unilateral policing and punishing all over the globe? If US troops can be stationed in Afghan-Pak border under the excuse of anti-terror operations, China would naturally suspect American spying over neighboring Chinese territory. If China moves troops into PoK, it may be to counter partly US espionage. However, China too plays dirty games of illegal nuke profileration in Pak and N.Korea, provoking India by mis-labeling J & K as Indian occupied Kashmir, granting or selling weapons to infiltrators into India from North East and Nepal, Maoists, Naxalites. So India should call Tibet as Chinese occupied Tibet, call Taiwan as National China, strengthen military and cultural ties with Taiwan, check and ban toxic Chinese goods, especially toys and gifts, which though cheap have the potential to harm Indian health in the long run.If Indian government can't do it, the Indian public at least can boycott these and start labelling and blogging on Chinese actions appropriately.

do you know the size of taiwan, its land area is 36,000 square kms, whereas china's area is 3,591,000 sq kms. what benefit will india get from a country which is smaller than kerala.who tells indians to purchase chinese goods, stop their inflow into india,&capture aksai chin area from them, which they occupied in the 1962 war, which we lost badly.

Any fool can fight and lose what he has. In these modern times, difficult to conclusively win a a war without losing lives and properties of indigenous population. Wiser thing would to accomplish political objectives without going to war which is easy to start but difficult to end.

Under international trading agreements the govt may not do it but we, the alert public, can run a campaign for it. Hit them hard where it hurts, economically. Display boards everywhere, saying Chinese goods UNWELCOME here!

USA is trust worthy
by Satish Kumar on Sep 03, 2010 06:37 PM

everybody knows about china, USA is just trying to caution the south Asian countries. USA is trust worthy while china is not trust worthy at all, there has been the history in the past that china did just opposite to what it said.

so i think we should not blame USA, i still believe that USA's report is cent percent RIGHT. and china is attempting to conspire a dirty game again.

Never trust the Chinese
by Ramadas on Sep 03, 2010 06:15 PM

Every Indian must bear in mind that the Chinese government are all out to do anything to put India down. As long as thugs are in positions of power, Indians should have nothing to with China. Not even with their cheap shoddy products.

Do not trust these chinese. After becoming economically strong they are flexing their muscles.
After taking over independent Tibet(wrong policies of Mr Nehru) now they are eyeing Kashmir,Arunachal Pradesh, Bhutan.
They know that Indian communists(in Bangal and
Kerla) will help them in achieving this goal.
Indian govt must learn from Past>
Follow offensive foreign policy and strengthen
the Army and Missile power. Raise the issue of
Tibet again with the help of USA.
