Cops everywhere in this stinking cesspool of a land are all crooks and thugs. And the stink goes all the way to the very top. These 'senior' cops he speaks of, are all utterly corrupt beyond redeem, so their being evasive about their lucrative extortion racket is quite understandable. Their only option now is to get this poor lady officer fired under any pretext, or even have her put away, so they can resume their nefarious extortion racket with impunity.
the blame is to be shared more by the political master the ruling and the one in opposition. less on the staff. they had over the decades made the police their button men. it's effect affects us now.

Who does not know that at each check post, 50 or 100 note is a right of Police, one can see from Tamul Nadu to Delhi and Kashmir everywhere. But Officers as well as our politicians are accepting it as part of good national character, similar type of fee is birth right in judiciary, Sales Tax, Income Tax, Excise Deptt. by junior staff in arranging meetings with seniors or giving forms which are given otherwise free. We are having exemplary character, now exposed as Police officer is now hit.

I am yet to see a ITO, DDA, Huda, GDA (NCR) region petty Babu who is not crorepati.Every politician as well as their officers know it.
