It appears that every one is trying to keep himself out of the net. No investigating agency will dare to touch these ‘BIG GUNS’. Only a statutory body is to investigate this scam. The GOVT/UPA should take initiative to give more teeth to this investigating agency to speed up the investigation. The investigation should be transparent. No interference. No sympathy to anyone irrespective of the person involved. Does the UPA has the willingness and the power to go ahead in the interest of the nation and justice to the war heroes?

This is a test case whether UPA has the WILL for a clean administration.Very soon we can expect a biggest scam in world history " Nuclear Deal' scam.It will take atleast 10 years to crop up. By that time the individuals will be in bed. The criminal charges will be read in the hospital room. Alas!!

What is the difference between cong looting and DMK looting? Cong loot are deducted and stopped or rectified to little extent? But DMK keep looting-- looting and our tamil media are simply witness to the loot of DMK? Nobody resigns even in any scam in TN? Karaunanidhi and his family shamelessly thinking they are born to loot atmils? Shame on tamils.

Titally agree.. But it's a fact that after CONG gov came realstate proces gone 100% up in 2 years..
Which was not when Bjp Gov..
Foodgrain price increases 30% before scanty rain last year and 70% after scanty rain.

The name of the society itself is to provide Adarsh i.e. ideal to others. In India one should catch hold of the culprit and prove that he held the culprit by hand and the matter goes to the court and the witnesses rebound. then the accused gets freed and robably may enter politics and become a Minister. Media is playing sensationalism. If AHS has been built in Latur(Maharashtra) for Kargil war hereos, there would not been any media news. All this call of Ditching Kargil Heros would not have been there, even if all military people/political people would have got flats.Beacuse they can get another piece of land.
Since it is Colaba/Cuff Parade area, costliest real estate in India, this makes news for Media and people who missed the bus, in particular Babu class, which may be making noise.
Nevertheless, this scam need to be investigated, how this misapprpriation of defence land took place. I understand during VP Singh tenure as PM, rule was made that all tranfer of defence land will be controlled vy PMO.
As of now all seem to be trying reap benefits from scam media, politicians and some senior defence officers from this expensive piece of land in Colaba, not in Latur.
As for Kargil heros, most of these brave people came from remote villages and would not have seen Colaba in all thier life.

I agree with Mr Shinde that only the newspapers are making a hue and cry. If the allotment of flats is illegal, the same can be cancelled and the flats allotted to the right persons. There is nothing new about this and it has happened several times in the past.
Anyway, the Congress High Command is coming to grips with the situation. Indians have full faith in the leadership of Mdm Sonia Gandhi, Dr Manmohan Singh and Mr Rahul Gandhi.

Once again some Maharastrian politicians belonging to the Congress Camp, after A R Antuley, Suresh Kalmadi, etc. has been under scanner for corruption charges. Shame upon these leaders of Congress who are bent on making money for themselves at the cost of public. People should hate Congress for the sins it is committing against humanity. But what can we expect of a Party which is led by a 5th Class pass Italian lady who told lies in court regarding her educational qualification. SHAME!! SHAME!!
