the left is actually stuck in 1910s when the communists were killing innocent people. just look at the maoists in east india. the difference now is nobody with half a brain is fooled by communists' camera obsucra any more.

Right to information introduced during 2006. Systamaticall under Sonia congress ruled states troubling the people who apply for the information under Right to Information act. For instance Govardhan Singh aged 30 filed a case on SP, ASp of Bikaneer District in Rajasthan to probe their assets & exposed the corruption. Nine fake criminal cases were framed, threatened age old mother to press to withdraw the RTI application, his wife always on purdah was taken by cathing hair dragged & beaten. Govardhan singh to tken on corruption became a sin. In Maharashtra Ramdass Ghadegaonkar hit the bull's eye (congress) by filing an RTI questioning the allotment of food grain under the PDS, and sand mafia. Congress annoyed & was killed. In Meghalaya Asith Sangma exposed massive corruption but he is the one balling law suits. he lost all savings to battle in court. all false cases were framed. Another Kishori Ram asked why land meant for the poor was being used by Congress rich one. He lost his own house & put to lot trouble. RTI should provide security for the applicant. Congress should not drive unlawfull acts. Under sonia UPA cirme rate shooted up vertically. Her party CM of AP Samuel raj sekar reddy organised & killed more than 250 oppponent party workers. no where the cases were registered. Accountab ility should be with government employees. such employees to be dismissed and total assets of his, his relatives,
not 1940s. but in perod before Russian revolition i.e 1910s.
just like ethnic few groups exploit the democracy to capture power and stay at top, several among the rich exploit the market forces, demand, supply and organisation to enrich themselves.
the communists failed before independence, post independence and during the present growth. during the periods of poverty, and the development and illetracy and ther present average. they are wearing english gowns and wigs in the indian circumstances. they talk a different language and cut off from the normal conversation.
Correct assESSEMENT mr karrat. You and your party have stopped the grown developement of Bengal since independence. You and your party is the only reason for that. Now that you have realised it - Get out of govt and hand over the reigns to other parties and see how they will develop. Even china failed in communism its dead !

Communist movement in India could not touch the heights it should have been considering the intellectual strength it possessed over the years. The main reason for not making it to the level is its inability to identify its movement with the masses. Started as a principle centric party, Communist party in India have generated multiple streams of thought leading to multiple streams of communist theories and parties showing the interest on theory and belief more than what people require in the country. Also, unlike idenfiying the target masses such as Russians focussing on factory labor, china focussing on agricultural labor, Indian communism focused on copying theories of Lenin and Mao after Marx thus failing to produce an international thinker of the stature of Lenin and Mao. MN Roy, Namboodripad or Jyoti Basu are no mean thinkers but as a movement these leaders could not inspire all intellectuals and lead towards a common goal to generate thoughts for the diverse people and atricities committed on them. Appreciable message from Karat who was always known for his intellectual abilities to analyze and integrity to accept the fact as fact. With capitalism gripping the country all around, the role of communism in today's society is very critical and unfortunately we are seeing only a decline and decay rather than any scope for new theories and actions.

i appreciate the communists for ...having a reasonably sound fiscal understanding ------- Not really valid. Whle it is true that many of the leading lights of Indian economists, specially in pre-1991 days were Leftists, their prescribtion for Indian economy were receipes of disaster.
When MMS came up with new policy 13 leading Left economists one of whom was a Rhodes scholar and became VC of Delhi University opposed the change. Indian left who had a large say in pre-PVN Congress would have run India aground by now.
The Indian Left have been a disaster for healthy evolution of Indian labour union movement, instead of advancing Blue collar revolution, they were devising for Red revolution and this again has been an unmitigated disaster with most labourer trapped in vicious unorganised labour sector.
Indian Left have the dubious distinction of mothering the Maoist movement and initally imparting a romantic aura and much legitimacy to it. There were quite protective of their extreme arm initially, and only later when the violence was directed internally towards Left cadre itself broke out, the brotherhood turned to bitter enemity.
